My first pre release I scored the Qi’ra showcase! Then nabbed a maul and Snoke. Snoke was so broken when he dropped. Helped me sweep the whole thing! Also they did say in one of the FFG live streams that all they have to do is name the name with RG and will count for all the different kinds. So it’ll block both falcons. Gonna get stronger with more sets!
According to the rules, all abilities with the phrase "name a card" in them do not consider the subtitle as part of the name so both regional governor and the qira unit work in the same way:)
During pre-release, Dark saber get me 5W / 0L. They were not prepared to face an 7/5 on turn 3. With the green card that gives +4/+4 for the phase, it was quick.
Went undefeated Friday with Cad Aggression, went undefeated again Sunday and got 1st place with Fennec Command. Got top 4 at 2 showdowns with Sabine Cunning before this. Been a nice little run. 😁
Relentless Pursuit and Rule with Respect are also affected by the rules change. Rule with Respect looked insane when it was previewed but now it looks a lot worse.
My son and I got lucky with legendaries this weekend total of 4 pre release boxes and 7 packs from wins and we hit 8 legendaries one. 1 krayt 2 hyper evacuates
Hi guys, long time listener, first time commenting. :) Thankyou so much for all of your content, it's much appreciated. I have a rules question that came up during my local prerelease. It's really a question of timing. I was playing Cad Bane (leader) and my opponent had 2 units in play, one of them on 1 health. I played a unit with ambush to take out the full health unit and then wanted to exhaust Cad Bane to force my opponent to kill his other unit. My opponent argued that the unit entered play first and so I would have to use Cad Bane to deal the 1 damage before I could take out the healthy unit. What happens first? Ambush or exhausting the leader because a unit entered play? I hope that makes sense, these things are tricky to explain.
Those are the same timing window so you can choose the order, much like when you ambush in a unit with shielded, you get to choose if you want the shield first or second

In response to exhausting the card you want to smuggle to pay for it. You're supposed to declare the card you want to play and reveal it(flip over the smuggle card), then exhaust it as part of paying the cost. I could see exhausting a smuggle card you revealed to play as payment causing some confusion. Went 2-3 at my pre-release, I don't feel I can join the discord, I'll bring the ktod win rate down. :)
How does new han’s damage playing stolen speeder vs something like crafty smuggler. Does stolen still end up on han’s side. Also does crafty shield go on before the damage?
@@leviponce7730 ok but this stirs the pot according this the token would be on the card already since tokens are already in play? to just to add to this from the comprehensive rulebook 7.1 "A token is a type of card that also has a second type, such as a “token upgrade.” Each token has the same formatting as its non-token card type." and 7.2 "Tokens are set aside at the start of the game. They cannot be shuffled into decks, cannot be discarded, and are not considered “played” when they enter play (meaning they don’t trigger abilities that depend on a card being played)." TLDR: as others stated above no.
@@SWU_KTOD understandable. Also heard y’all talking about the cape store. Went there on Sunday and it was such a great time and they are doing preorders for $100. Definitely check out vanguard if you ever get the chance.
Regardless of the rule update, I still think it's dumb you can have multiple Darth Vaders in play at the same time. Makes deck building less interesting

Han and speeder don't work. Crafty I believe you could order for after the shield

@SWU_KTOD smuggler just dies because the 2 damage is part of the playing action so it takes priority before when played timing like shielded

What was this toxic mass store? Went to a few prereleases in the state and had a ton of fun.

I wanted Cad so bad...only got two or three yellow villain cards in my pool. Ended up on Gar Saxon and it felt pretty meh
I almost went gar today but stuck w cad. That sounds lousy though
