I'm so glad these on are TH-cam now. Brings memories of watching these shows on my local Detroit PBS station as a teenager. Inspired me to do some woodworking to this day.
Watching Norm always makes me want to go out and build something! Of course, like most pros, he has a way of making everything look easy and everything fits perfectly. I don't think mine will turn out that good! 😁
Another nice build Norm! I’m working on that French side table you built! Only problem I’m having is trying to get that pattern right for those legs! Wish I had a full size print out of those legs! 😁 Thank you for sharing your amazing work! Cheers
I love Norm. I was just browsing TH-cam and thought of The New Yankee workshop. Here I am. Wasn't it with a guy who used only hand tools? No electricity? Am I remembering wrong? Still subscribed. Norm is awesome. Sorry for the loss of Roger Cook. What a great man. Rest in peace, my friend. We will see you later.
There's a similar table in Chawton House, the house where Jane Austen spent the last years of her all-too-brief life, in Hampshire in England. I don't know if she herself used it or if it showed up after her death.

Got that finish just right. Great color.
I remember this episode. Sure a nice little table. Brings me joy watching these again. Thanks Norm!
I’m so happy I found this channel. I watched this with my dad growing up every weekend before football came on. I’m excited to send it to him. 🙏🏻
i have watched quite a few of these video's but i don't believe I ever saw this one! thank you!

The guy you're thinking of who uses only hand tools is Roy Underhill of The Woodwright's Shop.
👍👍👍👍👍
Maybe glue the veneer before machining the apron

Season Two if I’m right is the last time where you mentioned Deerfield, Mass! (Chest on Chest)!

Might want to check your spelling, too. 😉
