I know some of you have asked how you can support the Shane Thomas Country Guitar Classics channel and help the channel grow. For those interested a Buy Me A Coffee account has been created. Donations of any amount are appreciated and will go to help the channel improve and provide you with more resources to help you become a guitar player of country classics!! www.buymeacoffee.com/ShaneThomas Keep Strumming and Humming, and a huge THANK YOU!
for some reason no one online seems to understand how this song actually sounds. I've seen other sheets, tutorials and tablatures that DO NOT SOUND LIKE THE ORIGINAL RECORDING. That or the tab writer just doesn't know how to write down tabs. It's frustrating honestly. This cover isn't perfect either but it gets SUPER CLOSE to what I'm looking for. Thank you sir
I can appreciate your simplicity in showing all nuances of the guitar and the song. Think you could have split this into 2 separate videos. Basic guitar info and how to play this song. Too drawn out for me, but good for a beginner.
Shane, another great lesson, thanks. Have you taught "Amarillo By Morning"? It was a great song in Texas dance halls before George Strait ever went near it!
I love that song! In fact it is one of my all time favorite songs. I was going to make a guitar lesson video of that song once I made it to 1000 subscribers. That should be in about 3-4 weeks. To celebrate I am going to make a video of one of my favorite songs and as a thank you to all of those that have subscribed to my TH-cam channel! I had no idea the song was around before George Strait made a record of it. I love little nuggets of history like that John! i appreciate the knowledge and you watching and requesting. Be looking for Amarillo By Morning here in a few weeks!
I enjoyed the lesson, but could you raise the camera level so we can better view the placement of your fingers. You tell us what fret you are using but a visual confirmation would help it sink in. Again. loved the lesson and the way you teach.
I appreciate that kind compliment. Sure thing. That is some classic Honky Tonk right there! You got it! It will be out soon. Thanks for the request and thank you for watching!
Hey Happy Times! . The one by Alan Jackson? Yeah I can! I am glad you are enjoying the channel. It means a lot to me that you are watching the videos! Thanks for the request!
Most pro transcribers say Roseanne used no capo. To play as original capo fret one or You may also try tuning up 1/2 (1 fret) step very slowly. You may break a string, though.
