I was an F-16 Crew Chief at Hahn from late 1985-1988 working in the Maintenance Control, from there I was sent to work the flight line on F-111’s at Cannon AFB. I’m guessing we were at Hahn at the same time??? I later joined the AZ ANG and eventually worked on the F-16E/F Block 60’s while the UAE pilots were training in AZ. Now I’m on the F-18C/D’s as a contractor for the Marines.

Your time as a Forward Air Controller would be rather interesting.

The F-15 also has a larger RCS than the F-16.
A friend of mine, Micheal Skinner, wrote a book back in the mid-1980's called "USAFE" in which he observed that F-15's and F-16's would spot each other on their radars at around the same time....

F-16 is only 8 years younger than me...I remember having a big poster on my bedroom wall of the prototype General Dynamics F-16 in the Red, White and Blue livery.
