IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ ! I have tried both the Windows MDM bypass and the Mac MDM Patch and can share the following tips and information with you. Firstly they are not the same and dont do exactly the same thing - other than Bypass the MDM screen successfully. In fact the Mac MDM patch is much more robust in my opinion and so preferable to the Windows MDM ByPass in several ways: 1. The MDM message that appears at the top of SETTINGS, when using the Windows MDM bypass, does not appear with the Mac MDM Patch. 2. I have tested and can confirm you can do OTA iOS updates with this Mac MDM Patch. The Windows version will return to the MDM lock after iOS update. But just run the Windows MDM bypass to get around this as there is no need to reset your iPhone for this to work! 3. When using the Mac MDM patch, the iphone opens with the usual set up screens and process. So there is no way to tell its MDM locked. NB: Just need to change the Region Setting to your home country (if you are not in the US) after setting up everything else. The windows MDM ByPass opens at the home screen instead, so you must manually go in, select and set up everything yourself. (if you know what to do and where to look) 4.With Windows version if you do an iOS update, the MDM login screen will return. Just run the Windows MDM byPass again. NB: If your newly acquired phone starts with the MDM log-in screen, its probably already been factory reset since this is what brings the MDM screen back. 5. As recommended in the video, when using the Mac MDM patch, make sure you disable SIP first. There is where most people are having trouble getting this Mac MDM patch to work. There are plenty of videos/instructions online showing how to disable SIP on a Mac - its really quite simple! Just make sure you enable SIP again after you have done the MDM patch. 6. If you wish to restore from an existing iPhone backup of your own to save time setting up, you can do this using the Windows MDM byPass version. (i.e. use your own backup instead of the supplied backup in the ZIP file) 7. At the time of posting this comment (Current iOS 17.3.1) both the Windows MDM ByPass and the Mac MDM Patch work perfectly!
thank you for comparing both Bypass methods, I read some about the macOS MDM Bypass method on reddit and they were recommending that because its better and also robust like you said, so now for myself I will try it and see if it works for my iPad Pro 12.9" 3rd Gen 2019 model.
Thank you for this lengthy message to help and compare the two methods, I really appreciate it. Do you know if the MDM pops back up if you factory reset the iDevice? if it doesn't then this is a huuge plus to know. I've tried methods where I had to pay for a client for windows and it does indeed bypasses the MDM and removes the supervision text on top of the settings. It just doesn't completely remove the MDM when I factory reset the iPads. Please let me know if the mac method completely removes the MDM if you can. Apologies in advance for this 3 month reply 🙏
@@Jasaiyan Hey my friend, sorry for the late reply, yes it worked even after the device restored to factory defaults, but one thing to know is that it depends on the Apple device model and the type of MDM lock because most of them are easy to bypass and remove, at the end all I have left to say is that the macOS method works the best for removing it. The device will have no issues when updated to newer versions but using a PC/Mac for the iOS or iPadOS Update process is considered better based on what I found in articles+reddit. However, most people had no issues when they updated the iOS/iPadOS through the device itself. Hope you all remove or bypass it easily! 😊
