Sad that many innocent people, not even as popular as Lucky Dube, have been killed in South Africa and their killers are NEVER found under a black government. Lucky Dube sang about the fact that he was not recognized by his own people, yet the international audience acclaimed his genuine and raw talent. A beautiful, struggling soul trying to make a mark in this short life-time of Man.
How sad that his people killed him, yet Lucky Dube tried to put South Africa on the map internationally. A country that kills its children, even under, a black government.Very sad!!!

As Black men we were taught not to cry. It was a way of not breaking under the whip of the oppressor. Today listening to this great story teller caused me to tear up as he was able to articulate a story that I had listened to, as a boy. Lucky Dube was truly a legend. Some days I would listen for hours on end, his music. Bob Marley opened the door and he not only walked through but left it open for others. Have you listened to, I am a prisoner, Slave, Remember Me, Live Italie. and much more. RIP Brother.
