I love to tell stories, especially the folk stories of Vietnam. Personally, I find them very mysterious and very meaningful. So my wish is to create more videos that tell as many stories of Vietnam as we can for you to see and hear. I like a lot of details because the more details my doll has, the more it is enhanced in artistic value

Amazing doll! I feel sad for the Ma Lai from the story though. All the sisters wanted to be was happy and they got tossed into a horrible situation.
You say in the video that horror themes are not your forte, but I disagree! I would LOVE to see more horror themed art from you. Your style is so glamorous that I think it really brings out the grotesque when combined. The juxtaposition is endlessly intriguing to me.

The story of May and Lai is the story of the doll in the video. The MaLai is a ghost of Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and some Asian countries

what a cool creature! i was surprised by some similarities with the manananggal of the philippines, south east asians unite in terrible ghost stories XD
Filipino folklore also has similar Manananggal ghosts (slightly different in appearance), but Managanggal specializes in hunting pregnant women

Gore is my thing & you did it ultimate justice! She's fabulous! I think I remember reading something you said during the video about not liking the heart? If that's true, may I make a suggestion? Next time if you start with a dulled grayish purple as a base for the heart, you can then go in & add some red. Just don't cover all of the base color. You can also add some tones of blue that would show veins. After that, you can try dry brushing some medium gray in spots. I hope this may help in the future, my apologies if the suggestion wasn't necessary. I love your work. You've helped me figure out how to make things on my doll repaints even better, so thank you 💜💜💜

5:21 this part of the story reminded me of the game I used to play when I was younger. Its called "Eyes: the horror game". There are monsters in this game that you have to run away from. And one of them, which has been in the game since its very beginning, is a flying head. This monster looks exactly the same as you described in your story.
I wonder if the creator of the game was inspired by these stories.
