I've watched each performance as it's been made available. Dimash is so talented, it strains my mind to think of his singing in 3-5 years. He already has mastered so much of the dynamics, vocal range and transitions without gaps, different voicing techniques, and especially, his connection to his audience. I'm such a big fan. I'm glad to see others here in the west (I'm in the US) who appreciate the talents of not only Dimash, but the others on I am a Singer China 2017. Xie xie ni!!
dimash has qualified for the finals in 3rd place starting week of April. In the meantime he has also won the best singer in China (EQUIVALENT TO OUR GRAMMYS. THE BEST SINGER EVER AND ALSO A VERY NICE PERSON.

What is amazing, aside from his 5-octave voice, is the ease and smoothness with which he switches from chest voice to passagio to falsetto to head voice, and his breath control. I have listened to the original version of SOS and other versions, and this is the best.

Yes he has a born gift of 6 octaves but he started his vocal classes at age 5 he never missed one class. So he has studied for 20 years of his life. Google him you will find how many languages he sings. He also plays multiple music instruments.
