Its use is for reusable styled widgets so that you can build your own UI styles and library and have a uniform style accross your app, conforming to a design system. Its use is not for single developpers (although...), but rather targetted at larger companies that want that kind of maintainability and ease of use of not thinking about styling to have the app conform to some design decisions.
@@Dogeek then what is theme data for? Also the whole point of flutter is to do this, to create your own shared widget library for reuse, this almost goes against it
It's will change the process of making design system in flutter! I guess Mix will be popular in community in next quarter. ThemeData try to solve that too, but it tighten with Material. Mix on the other hand, have flexible and mirroring with core functional widget (Column, Row, Container, etc).
This is definitely one POTW that’s simply to risky to start using in a production app. It lives throughout the entire UI. I’d love to see UI work become more streamlined and less verbose in the Flutter SDK thought!
pls delete this video and pls don't promote packages like these. Don't make Flutter like CSS. In no time we will have newbie developers using different techniques of making UI like this. I will prefer the standard and consistent approach (that is great enough already) rather than these useless abstractions which make no sense to seasoned developers.

CSS developer made this package.
😂 absolutely
No kidding.
You're right
That was the idea
Real 💯🤣
I have watched all the packages of the week but this is the one I still don't understand its use. I have watched the video twice
I think it's an advanced widget collection. But I'll check the package and come back to you.
I thought exactly the same.
It just like flex_color_scheme package if you familiar with it,
You will understand the use of it when you try to add more than one theme to your app
💯💯💯💯
Whatch it one more time. :)
I'm kidding man, I'm on the fourth loop, and still don't understand its use as well.
Dont get it

@@martinseal1987i guess having variants to a theme is cool.
@@BassRukarioGuerrero I have this
Finally you guys started 4k60Fps; Quality content with Quality ☺
Is there anyone who can explain to me the usefulness of this package, I still don't see it.
Same here. Just adding abstraction? Can't we already do this with Theme Data and passing to Material App?
I am also wondering same..
It is useful if you make your own color tokens for your design system..for me it really useful

ThemeData already does the work for me no need to add another abstraction
I don't like this package
When css junkies want to pollute the beauty that is flutter
That's why Im afraid to get a Flutter job.. Imagine they decided to go all in with this kind of package? Laaaaame
Ah, another weekz another package ❤
I hope flutter never get to change how we code like this mix style, it suck
Why?
This is definitely one POTW that’s simply to risky to start using in a production app. It lives throughout the entire UI.

Tailwind developer did it🥶
This seems like a "dangerous" duplication of Theme. I'm scared this is going to turn flutter into CSS 😮😢

I'm a beginner and i was like "what's the point? The comment section might know" and turns out they don't either
When would I want to use this over the normal Container ?
I’ve came across this package before but didn’t get it. Now after I saw this video, I still don’t get it.
Amazing! 💙
why dont i use just the apptheme instead?
Are we trying to be SwiftUI by this?
Jamais usarei um troço desses....sem sentido pra mim.
Good
most confusing widget of all time
需要中文字幕
HBOX IS COLUMN???
overengineering. plz stop recommending widgets that are useless and mostly just opinionated alternative ways of doing things.
It's for indiviuals, not for teams.
found the css dev
Could you introduce about Retrofit or Melos packages next time? 🙏
I'm not familiar with Retrofit, but Melos is a good idea! I'll add it to the list.
🎉
I truly believe this package will damage the flutter then helping any developer. please do not promote these packages.
Nice!
Please don't bring the mess from the web into the flutter eco system please 😂
Wow
What's this? 😅😅😅
This plugin is only useful if you have a design system.
☠️☠️🤐🤐 didn't understand
I am from 2090 Google will change its name soon not sure it's 2034 December 25🎉
I love this!!!!! My next project will written styling in Mix
