@@flippineddy627 there is actually a school located in New Hampshire called Heavy Construction Academy. It is a 6 week course but they bring you to and from. You have your own hotel room and a bud transports you to the school daily. The good thing is no prior experience is necessary

I wish I could go back but an injury put a stop to that. The actually truck I used to drive was a Komatsu 830E if you wanted to look it up yourself

This is great! I used to work for a company that had multiple quarries within a 30 minute car ride. Once in a while those dump trucks were moved between the quarries and they were actually driven on the roads. They stayed on country roads and had pilot cars to assist, but man it was quite a sight seeing them drive down the roads lol.

Also, those cops were probably the most chill. Like they knew it was a problem, but they took it upon themselves to try to help rather than hinder. Probably broke a few regs on the way, but the city will probably just bill the construction company. And the construction company may even bid for the contract to fix the lights.

As someone that drives a truck that has an arrow board on the back and a crash cushion on the back, I can tell you that traffic doesn't pay any attention to the sign at all. I've already had 2 people crash into me at high speed in the span of one month alone. Also, the police won't say or do anything about construction vehicles like that as long as they have the ambers on, unless the state DOT calls the state police about unauthorized construction activity. Construction vehicles are given more leeway than they should just because.... I could take one construction vehicle and block off an entire lane of traffic, do absolutely nothing but lay back in my truck and sleep and nobody would question anything unless city public works or the DOT notices.
Buggs I know you’re thankful for us who follow all you guys. But I’m thankful for all of you guys. I’ve told Ryan before in my profession I see death in every form you can think of. And then I have to talk with there loves ones. So yea brother it gets tense. But you boys really do help me keep it together. An I’ve saved a ton on shrink bills 😂 Seriously I thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart much love and respect!

Actually most states restrict oversized loads to 30 minutes before sunrise and 30 minutes after set

All states restrict oversize loads to daytime travel, but many larger cities will only let you travel through them at night because of less traffic
