We never needed Maxx C or Minn C. What we really needed all along is Mid "C".
Purulia is basically what Maxx C was when it came out. A card good in specific cases.

I like the comparison to Phantazmay. it will be good when it's good and really bad in other cases. it will stay on the radar for some time and it will suddenly dissappear at some point. then it will pop up once in a while. good card for specific formats. nothing crazy broken

If i had to guess, since it specifically works for summons from hand and limits you in uses of the archetype, there are 3 more coming out. One that works for summons from deck, one for gy and one for extra deck

Wait until the other mult charmy cards come out. The one that gives card from extra deck will be good. We probably have at least 2 more left. Then maxx c might get banned in ocg after that, otherwise they are screwed.

They did, it's called Nemesis, and everyone talks about Corridor/Colossus and Protos but nobody mentions how an actual Nemesis Deck can also grab Eschatos to completely shut down Tenpai iirc.

Honestly the from the hand summon comdiition ruins this card, 90percent of summons now arent from the hand, heck the fiendsmith engine summons like once from the hand, tge rest are from extra or grave. This card wont do crap realistically, its just conditional pot of greed if ur opponent allows it
Fiendsmith summons nothing from the hand actually. Even Lurrie summons from the grave. It's almost comical for Konami to release Purulia when that engine is going to be in every deck, and it is hilarious that people are hyping the card regardless.

Purulia in Paleo Tear is busted , because of daruma and all other Traps.
I Play the Deck for a few Month now and easaly Beat snake eye and Yubel going Second.

Maxx "C" isnt powerful because it draws you engine. It's powerful because it can draw you into more hand-traps. (Well, both)
I'd rather have a Nib & Maxx, and draw an Imperm and Ash, than have a Nib and Imperm.
This right here!!!!! I hate letting a Maxx c slide and then they draw more hand traps. Maxx c should have a restriction where cards yiu draw cannot be activated the same turn.
I don't think you understood what I said though. The issue with multchummy is that the draws you generate happen WAY too late to the point where when you do draw into hand traps, it'll be after their best applications against the specific chokepoints.
Comparing multchummy to Maxx "C" in that sense would be disingeneous since Maxx "C" draws you so many cards that even IF you draw hand traps past their optimal applications, you've got so many of them in your hand that you can afford not to care. The same cannot be said with multchummy, since you would only generate 3 draws IF you let your opponent full combo, at which point the hand traps would be ineffective, contrary to Maxx "C"
