  • Thank you so much for watching this video of a day in the life of running my own art business! I hope you enjoy these behind-the-scenes clips of how we make our fine art canvas prints!
This is a very hands on process that requires great attention to detail. This video documents our process of adding a gold border, hand embellishing the print, and adding a layer of varnish on top of it!
Shoutout to my studio manager and sister Brandi for helping with this project and editing this amazing video!!

I use Matte base coating. This way when hung it doesn’t cause hot spots from nearby lights.

Thanks for this video. I had a quick look on your website - how much extra do you charge for hand embellishment? Also how do you seal the embellishment on the print? Cheers Kirsten

I don’t much about arts and crafts so I’m curious about this, I ordered a 16x20 print off snapfish and also ordered a 16x20 canvas separately, will this process work on it?

I assume the canvas was sealed first. What kind of tape did you use? How long have you been doing this and have the embellishments caused any issues after years?

Hi. Really creative technique. I do have a question as to copyright issues that might come into play here. Printing your own artwork on canvas and adding embellishments is acceptable, as it's your own property but adding additional paint strokes onto someone else's artwork seems, perhaps, an infringement on the automatic copyright that is given to each piece of original artwork. Have you looked into that at all, to make sure you're not stepping on any toes?

Hi Ladies, The glossy varnish medium finish, I'm curious & puzzled. Don't know why but I thought it would cover your whole paining but it didn't look that way. Did I see right? Did you put it only on certain parts? I have no idea or painting background LOL but I loved watching you anyway! :) Thanks!!

    • @CBrookeRing
