Good for TMac for bringing it today. 1010 has too many Jags employees on air and they bent their knees to the Khans this week as the likes of Ferangie and Boselli even praised the press conference. We need more independent voices like TMac and fewer cheerleaders.

Easy I want Ben Johnson. I honestly believe he’ll bring Mark Brunell with him as a QB coach or possibly as OC. So many similarities working with Goff who was labeled as damaged goods. Everyone is giving Trevor the same label too. Also Shad mentioned in his press conference the offense under Doug was too basic and predictable. Ben Johnson alway keeps it creative and is a awesome trick play coach. Last what really impresses me about him is how quick on the spot he is with coming up with a perfect calls on so many 4th downs and 2 pt conversions the Lions usually go for. Biggest key who does he bring with him staff wise and locker room wise. If you can build a strong culture in the locker room and keep guys accountable you have a shot at a great thing.

Yep. I agree. Ben is in tune with todays game ... Doug although I liked him, his Offense became stale and older and predictable. We need Ben here so Khan needs to roll out the red carpet money and contract to get him here ASAP!!!

Watching the Jags in the early 2000’s and seeing both O/D line mauling other teams was fantastic. Watching Fred, MJD and Greg Jones run over teams was a thing to see. The receivers and tight ends made a difference as well. Let’s not forget about special teams. Everyone on those teams held each other accountable. Even if they didn’t have much success they still held each other accountable.
Now that is not the case. Even Shad isn’t holding Trent accountable for his foolishness.
As a fan since 6th grade and now in my mid 30’s this is just sad to see. There is a silver lining that we’ll have to wait for. Hopefully it’s not too long.

You know what I’m sick of? Telling our kick returner he’s going to be involved in the offense. So we don’t let them return in order to keep them healthy to be involved as WR. That doesn’t work and guess what. It hurts both special teams and the offense.

Khan doesn't know what he wants out of the team, other than "make the playoffs". He doesn't care how, because he doesn't know how. That's probably why he leans so hard on Baalke. That and the Urban hire blowing up in his face so spectacularly. We all say Trent is getting a 3rd chance; I have a suspicion that Khan sees this as Trent's 2nd.

I want Pete Carrol! I want a guy who has done it at the highest level who has established a great culture elsewhere. Enough of this Ben Johnson crap! Has the guy ever lead a group of men at the highest level?? Totally different ball game from a coordinator

You don't need to be a leader of men type coach to be a good HC. Lots of the best HCs in the league were former hotshot OCs with no prior HC experience.

Baalke is divisive and never takes accountability for his mistakes. Khan is foolish for letting himself get manipulated this long.
