For those too young to remember:
Before cell phones, there were “emergency phones” on the highways. They were usually every couple of miles. No payment required. You just picked up the phone and you were connected with emergency services.

Yeah, but they were only in cities and larger towns in the 1950s and 1960s. Yes, I remember them firsthand. Used to be you had to call the operator to get the police. Then someone invented 911, probably happened in California. That was also before tone dialing when we all had rotary phones. Cell phones were 25 years in the future. My cell phone is a huge computer, much bigger and more powerful than my first computer in the 1980s. Ah, the days of DOS and 64K 8-bit machines. And after all this time it is just the last 25 years that have birthed the current world. Amazing scientific advancements and reaching out to Mars. If we manage not to kill each other off, we only have about 2.5 billion years before Earth is not inhabitable due to solar expansion. In galactic time, a mere tick of the clock.

We still have a handful on the turnpike. From Ohio to Pennsylvania. I remember my mom using one down in Georgia because the brick we called cell phones back then died during a blowout tire on Spaghetti Junction. Thank ODIN for kind truckers! They blocked traffic long enough for us to limp off the road and called the closest mechanic to get us assistance. My mom went and uses the ER phone and they told her not to worry they have someone in route thanks to a couple of truckers that saw everything.

Yea I don't know why they first think this truck is connected to a mobile drug lab but when they find the freezer they think it's a deer? Isn't it a lot more reasonable that it is a body if they think it is a drug lab? Also, how stupid can you get, if you steal a truck and don't remove the license plates to make it harder to look it up. This killer only seem to have a lot of luck, not being very cleaver at all.

I find these composite sketches fascinating. Or rather the artists who create them. I think there must be some degree of psychic ability or mental superpower. They create these drawings that never quite look like how you would think a person looks. Like they’re always a bit weird. But then you see a picture of the actual person and you’re like ‘omg! It’s totally him!’

In the second episode, it's kind of lame to blame the bad video on the "old camera". It actually has nothing to do with that. The problem is that, when a camera is pointed to the same area all the time, the image is burnt in, making the people moving around seem like ghosts. But from the image, it is kind of also seem to have been out of focus, that could have been from the camera being moved just a small amount resulting in a image out of focus. Like you will see later, the out of focus was added later, since it wasn't that bad when she was doing the sketch.

Their idea of a small town and mine are not the same. I live between what they would call villages I guess and I still lock the doors, although it's probably not necessary, why chance it?
The biggest town within 10 miles has about 2,500 ppl. Rural living is the best and safest imho.

A bald-faced lie is one that is obvious, unambiguous, and readily apparent-like the visage of a person unobscured by facial hair. Bald-faced is a pejorative term, as it more specifically means shameless or brazen. Google is an amazing thing when you use it.
