If one knows the effort that was put into the making of this track back in the days (especially the layers and layers of the vocals), one can certainly appreciate it even more than the beauty it already displays. And then on top of that the craft work and great intentions of Steve in it, doesn't get any better than that. Danced on this one (the original that is 🙂 the 6 minutes version), at a class-dance in the evening, at some class-mate's garage in 1975. I was ten years old at the time. Put it on myself, I always played the deejay, and rushed into the arms of the girl I really liked at the time. Slow-danced myself in heaven the whole 6 minutes......

I then thought, having sampled the mixing during the last 24 hours, 'I wonder if Grandad Steve will have a bash at 10cc's I'm Not In Love'. Hey presto, and as if by magic, this mix appears.
