14:45 This building is called Elevador Lacerda, it's an old elevator that we have here in Salvador! It works and is very cheap to access, it takes you to the lower part of the city where we have a market called Mercado Modelo.
Alfie, is that a long time ago, when Earth was being formed, Salvador region could have earthquakes and one day, it had one and separated two parts from the city. You asked if we go often to the beach and the answer is, it’s depends of how far from the beach do you live, if you live in the beach city you probably go every weekend, if you live 1 ou 2 hours far you go like once a month and if you live like 4 or 5 hours far you only go on holidays and vacations, and actually there are states where there is no beach so these people have to travel a lot more to get to the beach so they must go just once a year or even less, anyways I love going to the beach ❤️
Hi Alphie I live in Salvador and it is a really beautiful city, it was the first capital of Brazil, where the country was born. Salvador has a very typical cuisine, which brings aspects of Afro culture. There are several interesting tourist spots like: model market, lacerda elevator, pillory, red river, lighthouse of the bar, fort are marcelo and countless others.

4:48 I have an idea for that! When you come to Brazil, choose a flight to a São Paulo airport! If the sky is clean, you can have a great look (I live in São Paulo and already take some flights, it's a cool view) But it's a little challenging seeing the city borders, because there's another cities really close, mixing together (Grande São Paulo, Great São Paulo, a group of cities really close to the state capital that almost blends together).
Some tips on the subject: now you've seen these top 10 destinations try to see more specific videos of each of these places because a 20 sec clip won't show you what to see or do or eat. Yes, eating local food is part of any trip (for bad or for worse...) and there are so many different regional foods in Brazil it's really worth checking them out.

The city of São Paulo is the largest city in population in the southern hemisphere, it has about 12 million habitants (21 million with the surrounding cities). It has roughly the same size as london in km² The state of São Paulo has almost exactly the same size as the entire UK, that's probably what you heard
Hey Alfie I've been to Iguazu Falls when I was 12 and I must say, there is no feeling like when you stand by the deck on the top of the waters and actually hear and see ALL THAT MASSIVE amount of water. It's almost like a calling from the Earth. Pretty amazing.

hey alfie you can easily see the jacarés (alligators) inside urban areas of Rio de Janeiro, in Barra da Tijuca, and snakes inside Alto da Boa Vista, as monkeys, owls, parrots and all sorts of exotic animals that live inside the city. Also, about São Paulo, it's not bigger than England, it should be about the same size and population as greater London, the metropolitan area of São Paulo is about 22 million people, it's the largest city in the Americas and an amazing city.
Hi Alfie! I live in São Paulo City, right in downtown. When you are able to visit here, pls reach me so I can give you tips to what to do and how to do. 18:21 About this, going to the beach is something almost every brazillian likes to do. Our country ir really hot (I mean, seriously) and we have a lot of amazing beaches, so it's very common to go. I live in a city far from the coast, but even with the distance we go to the beach almost every year, usually in the summer vacation (December/January).
Oh man !! I'm 27 years old, I'm from São Paulo and I don't even know 10% of São Paulo 😅 You'll need a lot of 1 year to get to know the coolest places in Brazil and a lifetime to get to know the whole country. It really is a wonderful place, we have places with huge cities, others are small towns, beaches, forests, deserts, even snow in the south of the country. And a very mixed culture, there are places that you feel in Switzerland, Germany, Portugal, Holland, Japan and other countries. And if you come, you will never want to leave. 😉
Alfie, I don't know If you know this, but there's a site where you can buy candy and snacks in London, it calls braziliancentre.co.uk and you can shop online. There's a lot of amazing snacks we love! One of the most famous is "Caixa de Bombom Nestlé" and "Caixa de bombom Garoto". We would love to see you trying those! it's the most famous in Brazil among others the site have! Love ya x
Alfieeee, come to Iguazu Falls!!! You have to come!!! It’s amazing how you can feel the water, such a great contact with nature! And yes, we can cross the river in a boat! 🥰
Check out Ubatuba, on the coast of São Paulo. This city is near Paraty. Here we have beautiful beaches with a lot of nature around. Google it, look at the pictures, you will be amazed.
Just one thing, the state of São Paulo is larger than England, but not the city, there are several cities in São Paulo state, as well farms, forests and cerrado.
I've lived in Brazil since I was born, and I've only been in Florianópolis and São Paulo kkkkkkk People who lives next to a beach, it's common to go to the beach every weekend. But people who don't live next (like São Paulo) it's not common to go to the beach every week. I have friends here in Brazil, that have never been in a beach before.
We missed talking about Inhotin, the largest museum of contemporary art in the open sky. The Inhotim Institute is the headquarters of one of the most important collections of contemporary art in Brazil and considered the largest open air museum in the world. It is located in Brumadinho, a city with 38 thousand inhabitants, just 60 kilometers from Belo Horizonte. Netflix has produced a series that uses the location as a backdrop. The séri is called 3%, just search on youtube, it's a Brazilian series.

My aunt and uncle live in Florianópolis, it's a great place, mild weather, not too hot but still a beach, great calm waters and also agitated ones, a great city overall. Biggest problem is transit on the seaside is extremely slow, especially on the weekends
You should plan your trip by region, for instance: rio de janeiro, sao paulo, petropolis and ouro preto are very close to each other. As for iguazu water falls and florianopolis are also close. Manaus and pantanal should are not that close to any other city in the list. But chapada diamantina national park and salvador are also close to esch other and if you want to see beach there are plenty of those in the capital cities of the northeast for you to pick from. But from sao Paulo or rio de Janeiro you can travel to any part of the country if you using plane, as if you are staying within a region you'll have more options as for interstate bus and shorter flights.
18:37 eu sou de minas e costumo viajar todo ano pra praia,a gente ama praia kkk, tipo acho q quem mora perto da praia n liga mt,mas as regioes que n tem praia ama ir visitar nas ferias...

One thing I rlly like in Brazil is the fact that in some places the buildings are different like in são paulo comparing to paraty
Alfie e eu que sou brasileira e nunca fui na Foz do Iguaçu, queria também é um lugar incrível ❤
Eu que moro no Paraná, já fui muitas vezes em Foz. Mas não conheço também as Cataratas 😅
I was in Florianópolis in the 2021 réveillon. It's a paradise. Have a such of beaches, parks, waterfalls, places in the downtown, Malls, restaurants, villages, lakes, trips on boats... One month is enough to visit every placed that you NEED TO KNOW when you go to Floripa city
Alfie watch the movie "Rio 1" and "Rio 2" you're gonna LOVE, my favorite movie ever and ever!

Yes Alfie, i live near florianópolis, which is in the state of santa catarina in southern Brazil.
Eu tenho tanto orgulho de ser brasileiro 🇧🇷❤️
3:16 The state of São Paulo is 5714 km larger than the entire united kingdom
the capital of the state of São Paulo is also called São Paulo and is 51km less than London
ele "meu deus tem muita gente na praia, agora não deve ter ninguém por causa do vírus" ah mas tem simkkkjkk

You can react to the feast of Nossa Senhora Aparecida, I know it sounds silly, but Brazilians are very faithful to it.
sorry my english is really bad 🤭
Alfie, I don't know If you know this, but there's a site where you can buy candy and snacks in London, it calls braziliancentre.co.uk and you can shop online. There's a lot of amazing snacks we love! One of the most famous is "Caixa de Bombom Nestlé" and "Caixa de bombom Garoto".
We would love to see you trying those! it's the most famous in Brazil among others the site have! Love ya x
Up pelo amor de tudo que é mais sagrado!!!
Alfieeee, come to Iguazu Falls!!! You have to come!!! It’s amazing how you can feel the water, such a great contact with nature! And yes, we can cross the river in a boat! 🥰
Alfie, when we live next to the beach...we go almost every day.
Hehehe...sou bicho estranho então, pois moro uma quadra do mar e não lembro a última vez que fui pra praia! Tirando as caminhadas, né!
Hi! I live in Florianópolis (or as we call it here Floripa). You are gonna love it so much!!! It’s a must go place when you come to Brazil!!
You should react to Brasilia, the Brazilian capital
Iguazu falls is in my city Foz do Iguaçu, is definitely a must to go place, it feels like paradise 🙌🏻
17:39 até que ele falou direitinho Rio de janeiro kkkkkkk
Check out Ubatuba, on the coast of São Paulo. This city is near Paraty. Here we have beautiful beaches with a lot of nature around. Google it, look at the pictures, you will be amazed.
Best place to visit in Brazil: SALVADOR-BA ✨✨
No

Yes
Just one thing, the state of São Paulo is larger than England, but not the city, there are several cities in São Paulo state, as well farms, forests and cerrado.

Essa música chata de novo não, Elis tem dezenas de músicas muito melhores.
A letra é boa, mas a música é enjoada demais.
I've lived in Brazil since I was born, and I've only been in Florianópolis and São Paulo kkkkkkk
People who lives next to a beach, it's common to go to the beach every weekend.

São Paulo is so big it has the most italian descendents od any city in the planet. That includes Rome.
