My first ever camera was a ST-901 I bought 3 years ago. I adore it tremendously and have taken it all over the world. There is a huge lacking of information online on the ST series and the Fujica brand at this time.

I bought fujica stx-1 in late 2022 from an uncle in Malaysia, and collect another two extra lenses from ebay which are hard to find, 55mm f1.6 and 28mm f2.8 both on X-mount. This camera has been my main workhorse for analog photography in general, especially portrait photography. It is fairly difficult to find people that own fujica slr due to the cease production in early 90s for their SLR lineup.

My first camera that I bought was also a ST801. I still have it and it works well. I also have a GW690 and a GX680III. I do take my 680 out in the field and have handheld it with good results but it really is a tripod camera.

A buddy of mine picked up a Fujica GW690 and he let me put a roll of well-stored Astia through it. It turned out beautifully and I had never seen transparencies so big at 6x9 cm. On a light table through a loupe the results were amazing. That was a couple of months ago and it was the first time I had ever heard of Fujica. Thanks for filling in some history on the start of Fujifilm’s camera division.

I have most of the ST versions. The 705w continues to be my favorite to use.

My first SLR was a Fujica ST-605....1980-ish? Seemed like a solid camera.

Fuji makes fine cameras and great lenses.
At one time, I used Fuji ST750 SLR cameras with three Fujinon M42 screw-mount lenses (28, 50, and 135mm).
Later, I used a Fuji 6x7cm medium format rangefinder camera with a fixed 90mm f/3.5 normal lens and a Fuji 6x9cm medium format rangefinder camera with a fixed 65mm f/5.6 wide-angle lens.
In the digital age, I used an APS-C Fuji S5 digital SLR which accepted all my Nikon lenses.
I also used APS-C Fuji X digital mirrorless cameras with nine prime lenses and two zoom lenses.

Nothing of the TX 1&2, 35mm unique cameras along with the X-Pan 'Blads.

Fuji should not name their cameras Fujifilm, but either Fujica or just Fuji.
