being a trained dancer before becoming a rapper benefited him greatly in his rap journey. hip hop dance specifically is a lot of KNOWING the music and following the beat and rhythm of it, and he 100% relays his dance training into his rap. he can change up the flow multiple times for a more melodic sounding verse while still hitting every beat. when you’re a dancer you have to know how to feel the music and follow it, and that’s what he does as a rapper too, and it’s why his verses are so unique and different from the others.

They are the best in the industry for me. They are why I find BTS songs so entertaining, why I want to hear them over and over again. They are why BTS songs are true hybrids and not simply pop songs with rap verses. They are the only ones whose verses are just as memorable as the chorus to me. They are so rhythmic and stylized. They can adapt to any type of song so their rapping never sounds out of place. None of them ever use the same flow as the other within a song, not even when SUGA and Hobi split verses. I don't really care about the "best" being subjective. No other rap line's verses motivate me to want to listen to a whole album of their work the way the BTS rap line does. I do not like their rap the most because they are my faves. They are my faves because I like their rap the most. People tend to forget how we even end up with favorites; it's because they have whatever it is we're looking for more so than others. I've listened to a lot of k-rap and BTS' rap line are the only ones I come back to consistently. I never get tired of hearing their work. It's never a phase for me, never a trend. They make me want more. As much as I enjoy other Idol rappers, none of them quite have that affect on me. So my vote will always go to them. They are the BEST for me.

It's not just about how fast you rap or how much flow you've got, but also about the sense and essence of the lyrics in every verse. NJ even thought about carving the corners "saram" to turn it into "sarang" and I'll leave it to you to figure out what he meant by that.

Eminem is very very fast but Yoongi once said Rap God was his go to karaoke song and we all know Yoongi can rap just as if not faster than Eminem, we just haven’t heard it yet. So yeah, they’re pretty much tied but in terms of existing evidence of their capabilities, Eminem is shown as faster.

a real rapper is not the one who can only rap too fast a part or something like that. A real rapper, in addition to having a good ability to do it fast, is one who transmits the feeling, emotions, and messages to the listener. He is the one who knows how to tell an understandable story, the one who can adapt to any song and knows the flow that he must carry. It's what most rappers in the industry need to understand. You may have the fastest rap in the world, but if your song is not transmitting anything to the public, then what are you really doing? And I respect the BTS rappers a lot for that, they know what they say, they know how to handle it and create a good rap, that's the real one.
Namjoon's high fking IQ, Yoongi's tongue technology, Hobi's flow switch. BTS are fking blessed to have such a gifted & talented rapline. I still remember them learning the history of Hip-Hop/mentored with OG rappers and when Triple-OG Warren G wanted to work and achieve more records with them. If there's anyone who doesn't know who Warren G is and you have doubts about BTS rapline positioned up there in kpop, you definitely played yourself. This mans validation is all that matters as far as it goes and he's prolly proud how much they improved as well. I've listened to hip hop my whole life and being raised in LA it's part of life, so I was amazed hearing diff rappers in kpop for the first time. Big Bang's G-dragon and T.O.P are one of my faves I heard as well, and Zico. But BTS rapline caught my attention, someone please call out Hobi! This man self-taught, been taught the game and to my surprise his flow switching (my opinion) is the best in kpop, his voice is so unique like he has 3 diff types of voices and can switch flows like 4 times in a verse. His rap flow is also similar to west coast hip hop, especially DJ Quik, E-40 ect but his style is more energetic which is what caught my homies and I by surprise. I think being a dancer initially and internally, he knows how to express the feelings of a verse in a song and learning to rap he's able to transfer that energy into how he raps and switches flows which is genius. And it's evident in videos how he performs with emotion and straight attitude. I can mention RM and Agust D but Hobi needed some luv as well. Peace.
I'm a guy, been listening to rap since 14, I know a thing or two about hiphop whether it's old school or new school, that was before when I was not into kpop, then I got into kpop then discover kpop rap, and for me bts' rap line is the best in the industry rn, btw im not a fan of them, but I can confidently say that because of their consistency, how versatile their styles there rhyme patterns, complexity, flow and etc. And yes they are many idols out there who are crazy rappers but they haven't done enough of what bts' have done tho. But I can think of some idols who has very strong potential and maybe able to outdone bts' rapline someday but for now? No one, so far.
It was because of Yoongi’s rap that made me to start the journey with BTS and it was First Love and The Last that made me to stan him. For First Love is the feeling. His emotions put in the song was insanely insane. The Last’s lyrics always easily touches my soul. Can’t help crying every time listen to it. Yoongi is truly a genius composer. Even one word “Dream” in So Far Away can tell it all. I always find myself in love with all his solo songs. Feel like I can feel him and relate to his stories so much. About Hoseok, I honestly love his lines on BTS’s songs more than solo songs of him 😅 Even though his lines are all kinda short but ... really Addictive. We can mention Let me know, Crystal Snow, Let go, Hold me tight, Tomorrow, Tear, On, Make it right, ... the times I replay his lines in every songs is uncountable😂 RM, he clearly has a voice of a top tier rapper. I still can’t get over his lines in Fools, I Know with JungKook and 4 o’clock with Taehyung.. And the combination of these three makes our rap line in BTS. Their rap songs like Cypher pt..., Ddaeng and the most iconic one Tear will forever stay gold. They just be there and you automatically understand why Agust D Jhope RM are top tier rappers in the Korean music industry.

People can try to argue but Bangtan's rap style and lyricism is just chef's kiss. It's not just about how fast you rap or how much flow you've got, but also about the sense and essence of the lyrics in every verse. NJ even thought about carving the corners "saram" to turn it into "sarang" and I'll leave it to you to figure out what he meant by that.

It’s not a matter of who’s the best (because that is an opinion), it’s about who’s the fastest which can be a fact. I think it’s both of them. Eminem is very very fast but Yoongi once said Rap God was his go to karaoke song and we all know Yoongi can rap just as if not faster than Eminem, we just haven’t heard it yet. So yeah, they’re pretty much tied but in terms of existing evidence of their capabilities, Eminem is shown as faster.

Hm well, I haven’t listened to Outsider, but yeah, it might sound too weird if it’s too fast. Honestly I don’t care. To me, Yoongi is one of the best rappers ever! His raps are always so catchy and he’s got a good flow. Also Yoongi is one of the best producers as well! Which is why all his works are enjoyable to me.
Regardless of who’s the fastest, I just know that I’ll always love Suga and think he’s the best because that’s my opinion! Also we all know Suga can be that fast too. Overall I just love him 💜

namjoon swearing in cypher 2 always gives me butterflies. i feel that army view him as this.. warm lovely gentleman who loves art and nature and bike rides and we forget that he's got that fierce, intimidating, professionally aggressive trait in him too. it rarely comes out with us but when it does, ooooh boy does it feel like a novelty.

a real rapper is not the one who can only rap too fast a part or something like that. A real rapper, in addition to having a good ability to do it fast, is one who transmits the feeling, emotions, and messages to the listener. He is the one who knows how to tell an understandable story, the one who can adapt to any song and knows the flow that he must carry. It's what most rappers in the industry need to understand. You may have the fastest rap in the world, but if your song is not transmitting anything to the public, then what are you really doing?
And I respect the BTS rappers a lot for that, they know what they say, they know how to handle it and create a good rap, that's the real one.

Namjoon's high fking IQ, Yoongi's tongue technology, Hobi's flow switch. BTS are fking blessed to have such a gifted & talented rapline. I still remember them learning the history of Hip-Hop/mentored with OG rappers and when Triple-OG Warren G wanted to work and achieve more records with them. If there's anyone who doesn't know who Warren G is and you have doubts about BTS rapline positioned up there in kpop, you definitely played yourself. This mans validation is all that matters as far as it goes and he's prolly proud how much they improved as well. I've listened to hip hop my whole life and being raised in LA it's part of life, so I was amazed hearing diff rappers in kpop for the first time. Big Bang's G-dragon and T.O.P are one of my faves I heard as well, and Zico. But BTS rapline caught my attention, someone please call out Hobi! This man self-taught, been taught the game and to my surprise his flow switching (my opinion) is the best in kpop, his voice is so unique like he has 3 diff types of voices and can switch flows like 4 times in a verse. His rap flow is also similar to west coast hip hop, especially DJ Quik, E-40 ect but his style is more energetic which is what caught my homies and I by surprise. I think being a dancer initially and internally, he knows how to express the feelings of a verse in a song and learning to rap he's able to transfer that energy into how he raps and switches flows which is genius. And it's evident in videos how he performs with emotion and straight attitude. I can mention RM and Agust D but Hobi needed some luv as well. Peace.
I'm a guy, been listening to rap since 14, I know a thing or two about hiphop whether it's old school or new school, that was before when I was not into kpop, then I got into kpop then discover kpop rap, and for me bts' rap line is the best in the industry rn, btw im not a fan of them, but I can confidently say that because of their consistency, how versatile their styles there rhyme patterns, complexity, flow and etc. And yes they are many idols out there who are crazy rappers but they haven't done enough of what bts' have done tho. But I can think of some idols who has very strong potential and maybe able to outdone bts' rapline someday but for now? No one, so far.

It was because of Yoongi’s rap that made me to start the journey with BTS and it was First Love and The Last that made me to stan him.
For First Love is the feeling. His emotions put in the song was insanely insane. The Last’s lyrics always easily touches my soul. Can’t help crying every time listen to it. Yoongi is truly a genius composer. Even one word “Dream” in So Far Away can tell it all. I always find myself in love with all his solo songs. Feel like I can feel him and relate to his stories so much.
About Hoseok, I honestly love his lines on BTS’s songs more than solo songs of him 😅 Even though his lines are all kinda short but ... really Addictive. We can mention Let me know, Crystal Snow, Let go, Hold me tight, Tomorrow, Tear, On, Make it right, ... the times I replay his lines in every songs is uncountable😂
RM, he clearly has a voice of a top tier rapper. I still can’t get over his lines in Fools, I Know with JungKook and 4 o’clock with Taehyung..
And the combination of these three makes our rap line in BTS. Their rap songs like Cypher pt..., Ddaeng and the most iconic one Tear will forever stay gold. They just be there and you automatically understand why Agust D Jhope RM are top tier rappers in the Korean music industry.

Also Hoseok changing his flow 4 times in 2nd Grade is iconic, and Namjoon's verse in Cypher 1 (or any of the Cyphers if we're being honest). Nonetheless, this is still a great video. Good job! 💜
