actually arranged marriages are misunderstood. they in a way discourage/forbid people to not marry into different cultures because of the risks involved. it can go wrong in few cases but is there a thing which is completely perfect in this world?
arranged and forced are two different things. arranged is when your parents find someone for you and you get the ultimate say in who you want to marry. forced is when the man or women or both were married when they didn’t wish to be married
I would like a part 2 for this story. Both Riya and her mom did the right thing and Riya followed her heart. Arranged marriages are like slavery and forced prostitution, It’s truly sickening! I hope Riya’s mom left her dad too!
I gotta admit I’m glad it didn’t end with the dad saying he was wrong and they have a tear full realization I feel like a part to you is now needed to show them doing well on their own without the dad’s help
the fact that indian parents allowed her to "date" first things first, let alone date a man from not a different caste but a whole different religion is totally insane
Its’s not totally insane, not everyone is not allowed to date. Muslims, like i am can’t date because our god says so, but some people don’t believe in our god, so they date or do whatever they want even if the man is from a different religion.
Yeah, I call them 'legalized hookups' and, at the end of the day, they are like business contracts (transactions) for the glorified reduction of a woman to a prostitute, practical slave and concubine (at least in cases where the couple doesn't get to know, like and fully accept one another as each other's partners, as much as that's possible between a man and woman, anyway). It's honestly disgusting.
Yep. Feels like it. Thankfully, Riya’s mom was there for her when Shah cheated on Riya, seeing how Riya’s own father has cheated on her two days before the arranged wedding.
The actress who plays Riya is so pretty and I love some of her facial expressions 😂😂 when she's shocked, surprised or annoyed 😂 she has a really expressive face
Money can't buy happiness. Beta was disowned by her father for choosing Chris, but this didn't faze her as she was too happy being with the man that she loved. To make things worse for her father, his wife and Beta's mother was finally able to divorce him and she was managed to track down and reunite with her long lost love, who had never married as he had waited for her. He also formed a close relationship with Beta, whom she found as the loving father she never had. He also stepped up to be a grandfather figure to her's and Chris's daughter. As for Beta's father, he died alone a rich but broken man.
So glad the indian girl didn't go through with it. Parents should not be matchmaking their children, and especially not for wealth. Marriage is serious business and for a lifetime in God's eyes and you really got to make sure if you do marry that it's with the right person who will make you happy and aligns well with your personality before you say, "I do." It's not merely about love either, it also has to add value and make sense, something many people don't think about. Bravo! 👏

True love always prevails. Forcing your children to marry someone just for money not only is wrong, no child should ever be forced to marry someone who they do not care for let alone date them.

Anyone give my comment a huge big like if you agree that Eddie Murphy's 1984 classic movie is like a long length feature version of an MTV music video and also has a Miami Vice vibe to it

Love Riya's mom and dad ❤
Dhar man unlocked new camera shots and angles
My parents had an arranged marraige and they are just as strict as Riya's dad but in a different way. I'm not allowed to marry anyone period. It's because they didn't get a say in their relationship choice so they're trearting me the same way. I wish to pursue a married life and my parents are forcing me to stay single forever. I don't wish to be a chronic bachelor, I wish to be a married man.
Your parents are doing you a favor. Only a fool wants a wife in this era
@@justinratcliffe947 No they're not. I dream of pursuing a married life which does NOT make me a fool.
Moral of the story: Money does not and cannot buy happiness. It is the people we bring into our lives that truly matter.

Fr wth?!...
FR 😅😅😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊
Wtf
True love always prevails. Forcing your children to marry someone just for money not only is wrong, no child should ever be forced to marry someone who they do not care for let alone date them.
Thought it be longer but I mean can end that way without knowing so fans create their own ending, maybe make stories of small but simple to create endings for Our own to understand different reason even if it's shorts (maybe lol)
