This band is fuckin awesome. Idk why everyone's hating on the vocals, I think they're great. They're so different from other bands, it's really refreshing
The riffs are still there on the new album, better than ever imo. Problem is the electronic shit obscures them half the time. Hope Reba gets out before Jami/Eric go full nu-NIN.
This sound is kind of done I think. That whole deathwish Inc./southernlord sound I'm over it. I agree their new album is a bit too compressed (I like the production on forever better they should've went with Kurt again for the live instruments IMO). But their new sound is much more unique and exciting
+MrsMegatron66 it's cause vocals like this take practice. Do it wrong and you fuck up your vocal chords, it also doesn't sound just as good. These guys need to work on their technique and range. I've been practicing like this for four years just for fun too, it just doesn't sound right that's why a lot of people are calling them metalcore too especially since the drummer does that inhale thing A LOT
Cody Greer the song itself is more sludge than metal core at all. Metal core is more like those bipolar dirty/clean lyrics like that Asking Alexandria bs. Anyways, the band as a whole is more powerviolence with just shitty vocals
They're so amazing live, saw them open up for Anti Flag. The entire club was trembling when they played this song. I need to see them again, one of my favorites.
Holy shit, those vocals sound SO painful. I love this band so much, I haven't felt this kind of energy in a hardcore punk band since Converge and Gallows.
I can say that the first time I had ever heard these guys I wasn't thoroughly impressed but then I came back and gave them a second listen and I can honestly say that I get into them more by the more songs I listen to. And I am impressed.
I've got to thank my friend Anthony for putting their cd in on a car ride, this band has a new fan. It was one of those "Damn, who the hell is this?" moments.
man thats gotta be cool to be friends with jacob. i wish youtube was around in the late 90s/early millennia when i still had my band/my youth. i am now a slave. i dont even know how to find people who want to play this sh!t anymore. good luck you guys, you guys bow.
How? They're doing shit noone else is, and they're doing it so damn young. I wish I was writing music half as heart-felt a few years ago when I was their age. Look at their contemporaries, literally any other 'up and coming' hardcore band from the past few years, very, very few of them get it. These cats get it. Rock on COK. - From a new found fan.
some guy gave me a cd at warped tour for like 5 dollars or somethin, maybe a dollar, it was the topshelf records summer samples o.o thankkkk youuu random guy
Bought everything shirt, every album on vinyl, and everything they had. I can't believe someone would steal their shit, some people have zero respect for artist.
eat pills. go to sleep dead. skin the color of sheep. my body is a well “go healthy” words that fall to my feet like picking up the pieces of broken teeth the ones he leaves without in my dreams perched and maimed they just lay there. dumbfounded. un-struck my mind knows when it is starting to get colder. it starts to wander. it starts to wonder why in these periods of cease the bravery turns to hunger and your stare goes dull but I know you better. I wanted to see the eternally embellished doorstep. but the pains have slowed my fingers - no talking points. no relevance cross the street a little early just to wake up the tips of my fingers. and when the headlights come blaring towards me will acceptance come more easy? will depression set me free? when you spilled my design into their palms you spilled me.
First time hearing the band. The drummer's screams killed it for me...really did...but loved the beat and the other dude. But I thought there was a girl in the band? Everyone keeps talking about Reba and I have yet to hear/see her?
so young, but so brutal. This is what hardcore is all about. People get tired of the cookie cutter breakdown bullshit and it all comes down to what is real. This has alot of passion.
Kinda funny this bands pinnacle was when they were just kids bashing on their instruments and screaming loud as fuck. Wish they had the same energy today as they did back then, too much going on with the production and electronic shit now.
Hey everyone, Code Orange Kids got robbed in New Orleans after their show with Gaza and Full of Hell the other night of pretty much everything they had on tour with them. Idk what it means to any of you personally, but if you can help them out go buy their merch or something because it's terrible that something like that should happen to a band with so much potential.
This band are so bloody good, for those who are interested I have a review of their latest release Love Is Love//Return To Dust on my channel, can't wait for them to hit UK shores, pretty sure they will WRECK every bill they join, also why does the US get Full Of Hell, Code Orange Kids and Gaza on the same bill :( such a great tour.
I envision you all as the band that the "Children of the Corn" would have had if they had a band. (Children Of the Korn? bwahahaha) Enjoying your work thoroughly CO!
Hell I think the vocalists sound pretty interchangable. There isn't too much different between them. Hell when I first heard the band I thought it was just one guy. With that being said, both do a great job.
I think its cool what they are doing, just don't have have the ear for it I guess. I heard about these guys through Former Thieves, so go check them and Defeater out to!
This band is fuckin awesome. Idk why everyone's hating on the vocals, I think they're great. They're so different from other bands, it's really refreshing
This is beyond sludgy! These kids are going to carve a deep dark tunnel into hardcore, and good luck to them!
Yoooow
this aged well
@@KDgameing LOL
Banger of the decade should've never stopped being 'kids'
Code Orange Is Forever.
Saw them two weeks ago and Im still here wanting more, they were great opening for Defeater and Touche
Damn it’s 2020... I just listened to their new single and had to come here listen to the old stuff... sounds so much “organic”...
Oh well...
same
The riffs are still there on the new album, better than ever imo. Problem is the electronic shit obscures them half the time. Hope Reba gets out before Jami/Eric go full nu-NIN.

I love how the best bands are so raw and awesome in their earliest forms. Fucking metal.
Everyone's complaining about the vocals but it's real. It's their actual voices and thats their style. Just be glad it isn't that auto tune bullshit.
+MrsMegatron66 Amen.
+MrsMegatron66 it's cause vocals like this take practice. Do it wrong and you fuck up your vocal chords, it also doesn't sound just as good. These guys need to work on their technique and range. +jose flores hahaha no one can argue this is metalcore and not feel like an idiot
Cody Greer the song itself is more sludge than metal core at all. Metal core is more like those bipolar dirty/clean lyrics like that Asking Alexandria bs. Anyways, the band as a whole is more powerviolence with just shitty vocals
Dude the drummer is not inhaling... lmao
They're so amazing live, saw them open up for Anti Flag. The entire club was trembling when they played this song. I need to see them again, one of my favorites.
I can't believe a band so young are producing hardcore this fucking good, holy shit.
Look how big they've gotten now
@@Kyoko_02look how big they still going
Holy shit, those vocals sound SO painful.
I love this band so much, I haven't felt this kind of energy in a hardcore punk band since Converge and Gallows.
Love this band!! they deserve so much Recognition!
these guys are great! some of the chillest people i have ever met. real down to earth and easy to talk to.
Holy shit... They were serving this up back in the day too!?
🤘🧐🤘 I Love everything they do.
When I first heard the name "Code Orange Kids" I was expecting something like a 90's pop-punk band... but they are so much more.
this band blows everyone else away, nah sayers can nay say.
Saw this band last night. They were way too good.
I can say that the first time I had ever heard these guys I wasn't thoroughly impressed but then I came back and gave them a second listen and I can honestly say that I get into them more by the more songs I listen to. And I am impressed.
I found about this band today. This is beautiful.
Dat bass. Recording in a living room with Christmas lights strung up ftw.
Bought their 7" split with Full Of Hell. I listen to this song all day every day.
I've got to thank my friend Anthony for putting their cd in on a car ride, this band has a new fan. It was one of those "Damn, who the hell is this?" moments.
Dat beginning.....so good.
I love the drummers vocals
Saw these guys last night, GREAT SHOW

To think it said posted 4 months ago when I first checked this out years ago how the time flies…
Saw them in Jax, FL at the Burro Bar. Very impressed.
@0:50 too good. love the vocals
This is the best thing ever

NEW FAVORITE BAND!
This song gave me goosebumps

Saw you last night, sick show. See you next year in jax, fl

Could really use that one guy that always comments the lyrics rn

I can't get enough of this, holy fuck.
still hits heavier than ever those fucking drums and group vocals man
Holy shit this song sent shivers down my spine.
First time hearing the band. The drummer's screams killed it for me...really did...but loved the beat and the other dude. But I thought there was a girl in the band? Everyone keeps talking about Reba and I have yet to hear/see her?
Reba is the front man with a white shirt, and to each there own
Leah Marie um, Reba is a girl, in this video it is hard to tell because of the fact you can't see her face
+Enzo Norabuena oooh okay I got confused because you said "the front MAN in the white shirt"
SO GOOD
so young, but so brutal. This is what hardcore is all about. People get tired of the cookie cutter breakdown bullshit and it all comes down to what is real. This has alot of passion.
This comment didn't age well huh.
still perfect.
I think the male guitarist's vocals create a really cool feel for this track.
good sound and rage this a great song like like like like
HEY THANKS FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE, BOB RIZZO
The drummers vocals
So sick. More sludge and doom influences like this would make for a much better hardcore scene than there currently is
finally something refreshing, pump dis sheit!
not if youre looking for the same heaviness, but definitely they share a fanbase
I'll take that as a compliment
whoa i like this. this song kind of reminds me of the first Found Dead Hanging songs, really slow and pissed as hell.
so good
Seeing them at FEST aye
Well, that's the point. That's a compliment!
Dude this is so fucking cool
This sounds massive!
oh baby i like it raw
The vocalist is in Wolf Whistle though. Respect.
Kinda funny this bands pinnacle was when they were just kids bashing on their instruments and screaming loud as fuck. Wish they had the same energy today as they did back then, too much going on with the production and electronic shit now.
this song overcame me tonight
Me too.
Same and i am not even sure if i like the song yet must be a sign

Don't let it get to you man

I miss Code Orange Kids.
I don't give a fuck what genre this is. All I care about is the fact that this was awesome.
the only problem with this band is no mic handouts to the crowd at shows since all the mics have to stay stationary
So weird to see them all in shirts!!
so much converge influence. 3 vox is pretty sick. & wow at a girl in a band liek this pretty cool.
They kinda resemble Touche Amore's "To the beat of a Dead horse" and even older Saetia and Pg.99 period for some reason.
This is Dark/Chaotic Hardcore, like Trap Them and Full of Hell. Either way they have hardcore roots, just darker and heavier.
YAAAAY
why is there a video for The Notebook winning the MTV award for best kiss on the side?
oooo that two step
Seriously the best hardcore band I've heard in a while. Give them fucking money or something.
Oh my god.
Well, it cannot be an insult either.
It's gotten better recently. There's lots of hipster wannabes on youtube who hate a lot.
How can you even unlike lol
Hot damn that's some Yinzer rage right there.
UR MOSHIN
The future is yours....
I envision you all as the band that the "Children of the Corn" would have had if they had a band. (Children Of the Korn? bwahahaha) Enjoying your work thoroughly CO!
Im glad I'm not the only one who caught that vibe. As soon as I saw the I Am King vid thats what I was thinkin
battyroy666 As someone who just saw the original Children of The Corn and the "I Am King" video, I 100 percent agree with you.
eric02599 Right? "Thinning of the Herd" is creepy coming from kids. Love this band.
SilhouetteJudas They're so brutal. They should make their own spooky movie!

you dislike this but like have heart. seems legit.
I like this more than the new code orange.
A lot of people do
Reba, let me love you.
