They are so cute. But I have a question? I’ve heard stories about monkeys throwing their poo at people when upset. Do these do that? I know, dumb question.
These type of monkeys won't do that. The only time you'll hear about monkeys throwing their feces is basically in zoos... And they would have to be on really poor conditions to do that. I would definitely recommend the marmosets or the tamarins if you must get a monkey. They're easier and their hand controls. Meaning will fit in your hand...anything else I would not recommend. Especially capuchins. They are too wild and they can get to aggressive after about two to three years in... Same thing with the rhesus macaques or Java macaque...they would not be good pets at all. Especially when they get into the juvenile stage. You have to be very aggressive with them. at an early age you need to assert yourself as the dominant alpha or else they will go all over you as far as being disobedient. With these type of monkeys.. the common marmoset and the cotton-top tamarin... It's easy to assert the alpha status with them.
One of the very first things a reputable animal dealer will tell you when you buy a marmoset is to never let them run loose. They tell you to put a leash on them. The make leashes for marmosets.
If you want an animal that understand it's not ok to poop and pee in certain places, get a cat, dog, rodent, etc. Most common pets understand the concept of a "defecation area" but small primates will not.

Nope monkeys cannot be housebroken. U will have to wipe up urine and feces, diaper and/or clean up after them for as long as u keep em.
