I was talking to llama 3 on Groq and i'm amazed how intelligent it is! They did a good job in making it really smart! I would like to get those ray ban glasses!
I participate in certain topic specific groups on Facebook, Discord, and Reddit, and I've noticed a clear difference in the quality of information provided by participants. The advice and information offered on Reddit and Discord tends to be way more reliable, whereas Facebook is more often than not just plain wrong. I would be a little suspect of an AI model trained solely on data from Facebook groups.
Followed the Ollama and Pinokio walk through instructions and was able to get up and running. This llama 3 model and running with this method seems to be far less capable memory of context and generally harder to use, at least in comparison to Claude Opus and GPT 4.

There's many updates with AI and this is the first channel Ive come across where I can get the updates and also a good laugh at the same time. oh no! we hope you're doing ok. the way we always look at this is that change has been relatively constant when it comes to us humans and there are a lot of ways to look at how to get better personally with these tools. the bigger questions will have to do with what sort of career paths might get disrupted. are you in one of those you're worried about?

Solely as an over-the-top gory power fantasy just gaming for hours on it's built in RPG maker thingy? Today was very impressive with the "scary" developments. The dogfighting, the VASA, the CRISPR. I heard about the AI flight training over the last couple of years, and after seeing what AI did in Gran Turismo, the way it can master maneuvering at high speed, physics rules and stuff... I kinda knew human pilots will be unlikely to beat it. I like DARPA's "ethical norms" as a convenient limiter to turn off when somebody really needs blowing up :-X , things are gonna be interesting.

Interesting. For RV and automotive stuff, I have found FB to be incredibly accurate. Might depend upon group size and focus?
