- TVS X is a premium electric scooter that is powered by a 4.4 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 140 kilometers. The scooter is equipped with a 11 kW PMSM electric motor that can propel it from 0 to 60 kmph in 4.5 seconds. The TVS X gets a 10.2-inch TFT instrument cluster that displays a variety of information, including the battery level, range, and speed. The scooter also gets connected features such as a navigation system, EV charger mapping, and live vehicle location sharing.
The TVS X is built on a new aluminium-alloy chassis that is said to be over twice as stiff as a conventional scooter frame. The scooter gets telescopic front suspension and monoshock rear suspension. It also gets 12-inch alloy wheels with single-channel ABS.
The TVS X is priced at Rs 2.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in three colors: red, black, and blue. The deliveries of the scooter will commence in November 2023.

@@Leo-vj4ivall 4 can't show off with a wagonR as they are already boxed. And the wagon can't give any thrill...A Ducati or Kawasaki will cost around 50Lac. Wud you suggest getting 2 buses and moving a village.
Battery capacity is lower than Ola in electric bike we look for higher battery pack
Big disappointment from tvs paying 2.5 lac is not a problem but 2.5 lac scooter runs laser than 1.5 lac it’s a disappointment

Of course, TVS had to do this(premium pricing) in suppot of Ultraviolette, to justify premium pricing of their bike plus they are one of the angel investors for Ultraviolette.

Seems like TVS is still in experimental phase. This is not still not a mass market product and not enough beat the current market leader. Expected more like 6kW battery.
Pricing should be under 2 lakh. But the built quality is top notch in my opinion....

It should have bigger tyres..like 15 inches or something. They wanted to put it as something between a bike and scooter...which it would be, if the tyres were bigger...also, the battery should have been at least 5kwh usable to make it a probable candidate. if it had that tyre size and a real work 180 km range, i would have considered it. I am sick and tired of waiting for a good quality electric motorcycle...but they have done excellent job in the software front. For a legacy auto, that's commendable that now they have software suit even better than Ather and Ola.

Yes, software refinement shocked me as well considering they are not into software and most likely they outsourced it. Whereas OLA and Ather have their in-house Software team.

I have one ather and one vida this is a amazing scooter i was waiting for a scooter like this i wanted a scooter like Yamaha aerox with more boot space the could have been better if it was pitched as a commuter bike.
