no idea. Maybe his heart just told him. I mean, he doesn't seem to be stupid or anything. I'd also feel that something's off if we're in the middle of something important, she behaves in a very serious manner all the way and then suddenly goes "I'd be neglecting my duties if I didn't get a growing boy fed, wouldn't I?" I would rather expect to hear like "oh wait, you're probably hungry. Do you want to eat?" or something like that. The way she said it was kinda calm and carefree, just condradicts all of her previous behaviour
