Very informative vlog Mr & Mrs Slaw, it really is a nice piece of kit and stunning scenery to go with it. Keep the videos going and enjoy the rest of your holidays.👍💕💕
So glad we watched your blog before buying as we would have arrived in Ingleton with no lighting gel !!.. After 2 weeks on skye and Rassay,"adventure van stan" only has smidge , gin , whiskey and a spare 5 litres can of diesel to light it with 😊😊
I think when your 'Glamorous Assistant' returned with the spotless BBQ it was a case of 'here's one I prepared earlier' 😆 ...... it really is an amazing looking and functional BBQ. Cheers 🍷🍺
Thanks for the great video! It helped me a lot in my decision to buy. Today I am getting the grill in the same color as you have. I am looking forward to trying it out this weekend 🙂. You both are very personable 🙂👍. Greetings from Germany!
Ah damn you've thrown a spanner in the works with this. Decided I needed a charcoal fire pit BBQ for my camping trips and almost decided on one from B&Q was about to make the purchase Until I saw this! So much more energy efficient and cleaner. I'm sold.
Received my one yesterday. Was hoping to use it this weekend but the weather is letting us down it seems so we may not have an opportunity till next summer as it was for our holiday place in the mountain and it's rare to have a good enough day for grilling, especially one that we are actually there lol. Enjoy your adventures.
We have a virtually identical version of this, ours has a waterline approx 25mm up from the bottom, water catches the oils/fat from the meat and sits on top of the water which makes it far easier to clean, may be worth checking the base of these for the same water level mark
@@TheSlawsAdventures Hi Thanks for the reply though from what I’ve seen of yours, ours is identical, our spout is approx 30mm from the bottom so it’s above the water level line allowing the air to blow up through the fuel basket. Glad to see you both back on your channel, you have been missed x
Thumbs up for a useful and nice to watch video. Got a say, you two are a good team. The grill is slightly too big for what I am looking for - a grill to have on the table while grilling small pieces of meet etc. fondue style. Also the little buzz from the fan not ideal for this use. Have anyone heard of a good grill for that purpose? I am looking into the Eva Solo table grill. Thanks again 😊 Henrik
One flaw to the Slaws LotusGrill....if the batteries run out mid cook then you're a bit stuffed unless you have a hole in your table ha! Looks a nice bit of kit though and I'm sure you'd get know how many times the batteries will last.
Hello Mr/Mrs Slaw, Great Vlog/Revue...Can the middle of the cooking area be used as i notice you only cooked around the outer edge...Looks like a great bit of kit.
Hi to you both a quick question about the lotus can you use rechargeable AA batteries to run the fan thanks for the great videos regards barry and bob robert my dog
Hi Slaw and Mrs Slaw. Great vlog re Lotus - impressed 👏. Please can I ask Slaw a totally unrelated question... Which Heads Up Display do you have. I want to get my hubby one and yours seem really clear to read. Do you like / rate it? Sorry for being a nuisance. Thanks for your vlogs. Excellent down to earth and real. 👍👍👏👏😄😄
Lovely couple. And your pups are adorable. Thank you for an enjoyable video 🥩🔥 Is the centre much hotter than the rest of the grill? I like to cook with skewers and wondered if they'll cook evenly if laid across the grill.
Great video! Just a couple of questions, is the outside red bit hot when it’s on? Would it burn the surface it’s on? Is the middle section not to be cooked on or did you avoid it because it might be too hot? Thanks in advance!
Thanks Julian! The outer casing doesn’t get hot. We stand it on a table with no problems when cooking. Yes, the hot plate in the middle is very hot. Kebabs tend to stick to it.
Hi Guy's, thanks for that cool vid)))) Btw, cute dog's))) I just got one yesterday that will use the first time today. Very much looking forward to it.
