lou's acting is divine, he embodies the character so perfectly. his dialouge and facial expressions perfectly encapulate how elias feels. love him

Funny how an adult actor can go to acting school and do acting workshops and study acting for years and a kid like Lou can come along and give a performance that'll send fully grown adults to tears.

Young love is so hard, always has been, all the new emotions that fly thru your heart and head. This was a great movie to show that! Bravo!
I feel the movie is so beautiful, Elias character portrays what it feels like to know your sexuality, then all the sudden you dont. It also explains the desire you have while your young, the wanting to kiss someone, and hold their hand. While Alexander's character is more being comfortable with who he is, caring for the one he loves.
i love how alexander didnt take advantage of him being drunk in that one scene i love how they both have a soft spot for each other like when they got in a fight in that party the only thing Elias could think of was alexander. elias went to go live with his grandpa for a while and he was only texting alexander. i literally love this relationship n i hope there well be a young hearts 2
Lou’s acting is impeccable, and looks so natural. I can see a bright future a head.same with Marius.
Their happiness makes me speechless, and it's what I find attractive in any relationship. Young love or first love is something you will always remember. I even had empathy for the same gender before I knew what it was and meant to me. I can understand what it's like from another person's eyes!
Honestly, it doesn't matter if the heart wants to be with another boy or girl then you have to accept that, it doesn't matter what other people think, all that matters is if you are happy.
Why should you go through life "trying" to pleased people, if you aren't happy, it doesn't matter about you trying to please people, all that matters is that You are happy. I'm excited to see the movie!

After watching a few fragments of this movie, I see a similarity to the story. Fantastic play with the facial expressions and eyes of the shorter boy.
