Love it! That plant you asked about that you found as a tuber looks like a dahlia to me, definitely dig up in fall after first frost and store it the same way it was, those are expensive and can be hard to overwinter! I had 10 I tried to save and only two survived :( How exciting! My little corn patch is also doing great. Carrots are adorable, you still have time to reseed for more so if you think those didn’t take well go ahead and seed again. You should look into drip irrigation, it would be so much better than a sprinkler. I want to get it in my garden so bad. Oh my goodness those bites look horrible, with how much rain we’ve been getting they are nasty this year. I got so bit up last evening working on the Well Bed 😬 It’s been gorgeous weather though, and I’m grateful for the rain, sick of the wind though haha. The other day it was so bad and so wet I was seriously worried about my crabapple and pear trees, the crab is more established now but heavier on top and not staked, the pears are staked because they have very little root systems so I’m glad I staked them right away. Keep my sweet potatoes in your prayers they need it 😅 I’m saving up for a gas grill, hoping to get it by canning season cause I think you can can on them right? Might be safer then our glass top stove haha
I just got my canner the other day. It's compatible with my induction stove, and has all the goodies with it. I'm so excited! The sprinkler is working great for watering the whole garden. I'm going to get a hose splitter and a second sprinkler so I can run them both at the same time.
