I am very inspired ! Thank you Benny for sharing this with us. Fulfilment is something big that comes into play after one graduates from their Bachelors degree, and I can relate so much! Keep going always, God will be with you!🙌😀
Randomly found your channel. I’m a struggling graduate architect too. I’m not that good at it but i finished school anyway. I don’t really have that much passion in it but I also I don’t have other passion lol so I’m just holding on for now
Honestly you spot on,we share a similar story, wanted to be a footballer but that didn't work out.Ventured into architecture earned my masters degree and working for a construction firm in Nigeria at the moment, but I just feel so void, already planning my exit.honestly life is too short to be miserable.
Bro you’re not alone. The construction/architecture industry is currently suffering when it comes to career fulfillment or satisfaction so I don’t blame your exit. Goodluck in whatever step you take 🙏🏾
Yohhhhh you just answered a question I asked you in another video. I am inspired. Thank you for this. I am definitely not going to ingore my calling. Apppreciate this video.
Bro why is every video with architects about quitting architecture, I keep on coming back to almost committing to do architecture as a student but I always go through the same rabbit hole of videos and thinking is it worth it.
Is like someone told you: "don't go into the cave, it is a dead end. There is no pot of gold in there." Maybe you can reason it out saying, "well that's because YOU didn't find it. I will gamble." But if there is enough number of people warning you, you should take some time to ask yourself: is this roulette game worth betting on? Think about your wife and kids. Think about your FUTURE wife and kids. That Adam Sandler movie "Click".
This was very inspiring man, I feel like I’ve been here for most of the journey and I understand how it feels to take that path that you never planned to take, but it feels right for you. I hope you find your Nirvana and achieve all you manifested man. Always gonna be rooting for you 🤞🏾
You probably should consider Canada, you’ll be a perfect fit for their Permanent residence through their federal skilled worker stream. Two masters and work experiences in uk and us you’ll get their PR in a heartbeat! And oh business/ finance that is tech related or any thing tied into tech is where the money is at right now
I would appreciate getting in contact with you, just watched your interview with Vanessa. I have been thinking Afrofuturism with foundational earth ships, sustainable power with recycled materials.. a lot that can be done in the current climate . You got this 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Wow I made the exact decision to leave architecture for finance/business or /BI but i dont know how to get in a master degree without resume, my whole resume is in architectur...what had you done to get in? what did you put in your resume?🍀
Hi Benny. I am architecture graduate of 2022, from India. I lost interest after I did my internship and realised its not for me. So I joined amazon for a non tech job. Now I'm interested in doing Supply chain management but because I did architecture, it's tough to get approvals from college, visa etc. So I'm kind of stuck with it. I appreciate you took courage to do ms in business. Please let me know the scope of supply chain in Canada
Hey, I’m an architectural student from 1st yea now I am loosing interest in architecture should I drop out??? My family forcing me to do it because of the money they invest I dont know what should I doo 😭😭😭
Yes, as someone who finished bachelor and is working in the field. If you are not interested, just leave it for your own well-being. It's not worth it, it takes a lot of time to really make money and you need to really be outstanding.

same. I switched career to frontend software engineering. another option which is popular among dissatisfied architects is UX/UI design. look into it
