I started Morgan ownership some seven years ago with a Pus 4 2.0l Duratec which was great. We did 27,000 miles in it touring the UK and Europe and loved it. We swapped that in for a a Roadster 3.7l with an Aero Racing ECU and exhaust which is extremely fast but suffers from the old chassis etc. We have done 20,000 mile in this and would have done a lot more but for Coronavirus. I test drove the Plus Six last year but it was not the car for me. I have now test driven the Plus Four in both manual and auto and love it. It is a truly great car and I am sorely tempted. Your video has increased the temptation. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will let you.know how I et on.
Hi Roger, a thoroughly enjoyable video on this beautiful revamped Morgan, I think it’s fantastic when some of the older car makers bring there old classics right up to the modern day whilst still keeping there charm. Great video & have the very best weekend.
Wonderful video! I really like your approach to the Morgan. The music is different from your usual style and it fits the character of the Morgan so well.
Superb video and review fella, I’ve got a real soft spot for these and my mum want one too. I have to say and they weren’t bad at all but the interior looks even better these days. Really want to drive and review one of these one day too 👍😎 great vid.
I note that you said Morgan are planning to up their manufacture of cars to 1,400 in the next five years. Seems that Morgan didn't hear that the UK Government are planning to ban the sale of ALL ICE powered cars in the UK by 2030. A full 10 years earlier than first planned. :-((... Love the "chirup" of the tyres when changing into 2nd gear. This isn't just some review of a new Morgan car. It's more like a rekindled love story. Though we all know who your first love really is! ;-))... Nice one mate. Your No1 Stalker :-))...
@@RogerBaileyOnCars - Liken it to vacuum cleaners of the 1950's (Big, loud, tethered and messy.) to one of today (Small, quiet, portable and clean). That's an ICE Morgan and an electric Morgan. Hmmm... :-\\... Though... To be honest, I'd go for a modern vacuum anyday over the old stuff that had suction as good as an asthmatic octogenarian :-))...
I rather enjoyed your review and video, it was like watching one of those old classic movies that was made in black and white that has been digitally coloured in and updated without removing any of it's original character and reminded me of times gone by. Thank you for sharing this with us all and reminding us that morgan is a timeless classic and able to mix it in 2021.
I just discovered this wonderful channel and subscribed. As a Lutenist I’m very fond of Elizabethan Music - all I need would be that wonderful Manor and... a Morgan! All best wishes! Andreas
An excellent, superb, interesting beautifully made fantastic video Roger, surpasses all and I mean all the other Morgan reviews out there congratulations
Absolutely fantastic review Roger. You really should have far more subscribers than you do. What camera did you use for the static shots? impressive stabilisation. I just bought a Canon GX10 for the large sensor but struggling to learn to use it properly and stabilisation was actually a lot better on the other cheap sony i had.
Appreciate your comment Jack thank you ! my camera is a Panasonic GH5 which I mount on a 1200mm slider, the revolving around the car shots are DJI mavic pro 2. That GX10 looks impressive, my guess is you'll capture some beautiful images, I will be looking out for what you produce with it. - cheers, Roger
Excellent filmography as always Roger! But this somehow could be seen as your best. Capturing the essence of Brittish architecture & aristrocatic cars in one and the same cookie jar... 👍
Super pretty car. As a long term porsche owner I would definitely consider one. it looks very low in the rear. Doesnt it touch the ground when you hit a pothole?
Superb video without any shadow of a doubt. As an owner of a traditional Morgan Plus 8 , I don't think I will be rushing out to by a new Plus 4 or Plus 6 for that matter. Yes both cars are significantly more refined that what has gone before but that's not what it is all about with Morgans. The circa £90,000 for a Plus 6 and £70,000 for a Plus 4 including some obvious options take nostalgia a bit too far. You can get blown around and have just as much fun in a steel chassised Morgan for significantly less money. The scarcity of Morgans, the limited market of folk wanting that type of car and the historical long waiting lists are no more. I sincerely hope that the projected increase in production will not prove to be the death knell of the company.
Hi Roger, one question I always had is how much room is there to keep bags and things if you want to go away for a weekend or even a week long road trip?
@@RogerBaileyOnCars : Thanks, that's what I always figured. You can get a luggage rack and strap on a suitcase, or else you're restricted to a couple of small handbags and a jacket, from what I can tell
So... it looks like the headrests are removable - not that I wouldn't want them when driving - but if removable then a tonneau could be possible - unlike the fixed seats of the Aeros and last +*
Lovely car and great footage but the sound of your review was hard to pick up for some reason Personal view but the background music isn’t a great touch 🤷♂️
Am I the only one that hates the Interior? It doesn’t feel old at all! Like why are the the knobs not chrome or the steering wheel some kind of wood trim. Let me not even mention the seats because they are atrocious.
superb filming, love the drone shots and Thornton Manor looking glorious great job Mr Bailey
Glad you enjoyed it thanks, good to see you again

Roger, I was just telling my wife how far your videos have come. Great job, my friend. From Nebraska, USA.
Thank you for saying this Bryce, - encourages me to do more !

Its a looker from the front for sure, and that colour suits it. Excellent drone photography too. Thanks for the video Roger
Thanks for watching Jon 👍
Wonderful video! I really like your approach to the Morgan. The music is different from your usual style and it fits the character of the Morgan so well.
Charmingly presented as always, Roger- be good to see more frequent content from you 👍

Watching this video I'm tempted, I hear Morgans hold their value quite well, I might actually go and have a look at one.
I can confirm they do hold there price, cost of ownership is very low.

@@RogerBaileyOnCars So what will they do?
I quite fancy a Caterham in a few years, but I have also wondered what they will do.
The drone shots are amazing , the video quality is so crisp :) love it 😍
Thank you so much 😁
Brilliant review! I was at the factory last friday. The atmosphere there was magical.
Wonderful video! Thank you. Lifes too short not to have a Morgan. Your video really helps with the pending decision. What a car!
You are so welcome!
Ive always said it : Morgans, like the old MG T's (up to the TC), are pure class. That is the correct setting for this car. Beautiful !

thank you 3DFX great to see you again, yes this was a rather British sort of day
Great video RB looking forward to the next one..🙌👍
thanks DH 👍
I love the Morgan cars. Modern performance with classic design. Best of both worlds 😊

yes you feel very close to the road however there was no bottoming out !
Enjoyed that ! Great video Roger.
thanks Martin glad you liked it 👍
Looks as good as always.Would be in my dream garage for sure...
Hi Roger - great video - as always! Are you going to do the 3 Wheeler - please do it before production stops - I guarantee you’ll be raving about it!
thanks mick, 3 wheeler is a possibility
Three wheeler in March April.
Thanks just bought one after having and older plus four makes me feel I've done the right thing
Truly great video Roger. Really enjoyed this 👌
Glad you enjoyed it 👍😊
Are you doing the three wheeler next? You’ll find it a hoot!
Great video as usual - thanks!
I may get to drive a 3 wheeler in 2021, fingers crossed
Actually the BMW Z4 engine is in the Plus 6 not the Plus 4 I think you’ll find.
nice video of great old car with modern engine
Glad you enjoyed it
Great review and you are right about porsche owners not wanting a morgan but I think its very cool and would buy one, if I had any money,
thanks Jake, keep saving up !
Evening Roger! Just finished Pete’s video! Now your’s!
Busy Evening for you François G !

thanks Ernie, yes the older car is a charmer.
Great video - looks like a cool reimagination
Thank you for making this video!
My pleasure Patrick
The best video about morgan is IL TRANQUILLO E LA MORGAN
Not for me but I can see it appealing to the older person who wishes to drive around the British countryside in reasonable comfort
Hand skills still there to be seen
Well fitted, won’t need any aftermarket Wolf nonsense.
Well made video, I'll sub at least for now and see what else you do, cheers
thanks G son and welcome, hope you like my next video ! It's likely to be a Porsche 👍
Cracking content.. subbed
thanks Adam, welcome to the channel
Awesome again :) thanks for this effort:)
Thanks again!
Great review lovely looking car
thanks for saying Phil 👍
third or fourth viewing of this video, I'm thinking to go and look at a morgan, cant afford new but an older one, do you think they hold value ok?
superb video outstanding job, is there a plan to review the plus 6 ?
cheers Gary, I'm hoping so
Hi Roger, one question I always had is how much room is there to keep bags and things if you want to go away for a weekend or even a week long road trip?
very little, theres a bit of space behind the seats
@@RogerBaileyOnCars : Thanks, that's what I always figured. You can get a luggage rack and strap on a suitcase, or else you're restricted to a couple of small handbags and a jacket, from what I can tell
stunning one such a beauty :)
Why do you keep banging on about the Z4. Apart from the engine and 'box, what 'underpinnings' come from BMW?
So... it looks like the headrests are removable - not that I wouldn't want them when driving - but if removable then a tonneau could be possible - unlike the fixed seats of the Aeros and last +*

Personal view but the background music isn’t a great touch 🤷♂️
Couldnt they put on a front bumper on it
Hi eddie, It would probably suit some chrome over riders or something like the old one but I guess this is progress !
why morgan dot use fiberglass or carbon fiber body?
its all about tradition
How is the electric version coming along?
Morgan is working on an electric drive train however I've no news on its progress
And the price ?
around £70k depending on spec
Daumen hoch hoch
Really well scripted beautifully filmed and edited vid, but I found the anodyne music a distraction, I would rather just hear the commentary.
noted 👍
Style!
What is the price please
its around £70k including a few options
Why should one should buy morgan?
I'm not fond of the front number plate housing.
How much?
in the region of £70k depending on how many options are specified
Background music volume down a notch, please.

👍👍👍👍👍
I dont really get the Morgan. But good video.
10 years time there must be an electric version.
That defeats the purpose of this car! If you want an electric car, go buy a Tesla

+ 4 2022: copia d'autore. Lo spirito originario della Morgan 4-4, già progressivamente compromesso, è ora del tutto scomparso
Stopped viewing after about 2 minutes. The annoying crap music was not required to make this review a pleasant experience.
Watched a few reviews/test drives of this model Morgan - why do they have spatting or burping sound ….you find it normal ???
