I have a pretty good feeling that they will continue to give out 4 ground vehicles as usual, until we have a decently large number of ground vehicles in game

You're wrong about the graphics, from whats currently seen in the beta test, the graphics look worse than the game now, Wargaming can't even get the one thing we wanted correct. Nothing about this upcoming update is good.
IMO its a good change. Not really. The TT removal is actually good The reason reforged sucks and the physics is cranky cause its a supertest. Emphasis on the test. Commanders will be changed. Imo worst issue is the community itself and the Decsiion makers too. Both of them are guilty
minimum requirements for Unreal engine GTX 1660 (to play at 30 fps at 1080p) - 51% of the people have graphic cards weaker/older than GTX 1660 (Steamcharts) (doesnt paint an actual image but does conclude that half the players on steam cant play, lets assume 10-25% of people on steam played WOTB cant play, its still a big number) - Situation on mobile will be worse... If players cant play the game for starters, what's the point... The game will die so fast.
I played test version on my phone. Best I can get are 40fps at lower resolution. Battery drain is another huge issue. After about 10 minutes I'd already drained over 10% of my fresh charge.
ok so this video is sadly a consequence of a ALOT of miss information (not blaming you at all by the way, just a lot of misinformation out there rn) tech trees are being replaced by sets, sets cost keys, the most expensive set as of now is 22keys (most are about 12 to 8keys), you will be able to get 2500 (yes 2500) keys for free by levelling up your account alone, not to mention the keys you can get by events and the ones from regular rewards. Premiums and collectors in sets are added inbetween where tech tree tanks are in sets (they do not add any extra grind onto a set, they are only is sets so you can buy them if you want an easier grind), they also will make it easier to purchase premium and collector tanks as you will no longer need to wait for a shop offer. Sets will take longer to grind than tech trees (tech trees rn can be grinded within like 5 hours with exp boosters, sets will take longer than that but u can use any tank in a set to grind unlike in current tech trees) The steel currency was introduced as provisions will become 1 time purchase (or removed), it will cost the same amount of credits as it does now if you take into account cost of provisions and consumables now versus steel cost of consumables (1 steel is 4 credits) in UE5, you can get 50k steel a day with daily mission according to testers WG has confirmed every commander will be able to be gained f2p via events, if you miss an event you can buy the commander in the store for gold now actual issues with the new update are: op commanders (they have kinda fixed this by nerfing afew of them), removing tank restoration which is just terrible (some people losing like hundreds of dollars because of this, it is partly their fault but still that is insane), making it so you need to buy tech tree vehicles now to have your progress saved for UE5 update (unnecessary requirement), introducing confusing sets which are hard to understand and making it harder to grind techtree vehicles or ig “free vehicles” new good addition: permanent enriched tanks will give way more credits, premium tanks will give way more credits and collectors can be enriched permanently to give more credits now like the t95e6 which for 2k gold can get a +10% cred boost on top of the boost it will already get (2k gold is super cheap btw) source: a tester for WOTb with the UE5 game engine
@ they are already enriched but now you can enrich them even more if they are being transferred (aka ur t95e6 now will get better coefficient in UE5 than if you buy an t95e6 in UE5), so you will keep ur current credit coefficient (aka u will lose nothing + u will probably gain some credit coefficient in the transfer) but if you want you can now also increase credit earning of the tanks you have to a higher credit coefficient (so like from 160% to 180%) with gold

As someone who had access to the test the graphics and physics are absolutely terrible even compared to the current engine which mind u is ten years old the whole update is cluttered low attention span garbage im incredibly disappointed as a top eight comp player and 10 year player the game I truly liked. I feel like if they go with these changes is dead.

Tech Tree is a huge part of the game. It is really stupid to remove the core feature of the game
