I caught a 53in at Moore point 2 years ago just casting the drop off with a mepps and only had my pike net. Same as in your vid. It ripped right through it. I had to net it 3 times and keep wrapping the line around the basket of the net to get it in. And safely released. I got my frabil musky net after that.
Glad you had no problem sharing all of your exact locations with every Tom Dick and Harry. Such a nice guy! True fisherman. Those of us that use trial and error and years of experience to find our spots appreciate it. You could have easily made this video without doing that. Lost a lot of respect.
I'm sorry you lost respect. We only give away or share our "C" class spots. We guide/sell our "B" class spots, and keep "A" class spots to ourselves :). Also by giving people C spots it keeps them away from our B and A spots! Send em all to the C's! I am sorry if our C spots are your A spots and i can see your frustration. My suggestion to you would be, to do some more trial and error and make it your B spot or C spot too! There are SO MANY better musky spots within a 15-20 minute boat ride of the spots that I mentioned. The other spots hold more fish and larger fish. We lost one last year that was likely pushing 60". If recieveing spots and techniques is something you don't like, than I suggest you unfollow my channel immediatly. We are going to be giving WAY more information and WAY more spots on our next videos and neae future. But if you want some Splake, Speckle, Walleye, and Whitefish spots hang around!
Craig we want to encourage more people to get out on the water and enjoy the wonderful sport of fishing. Hopefully our videos gives people the basic setups and locations to start fishing different species and catch some fish.
Thanks for the response, I will admit I wrote that comment with some anger. I really appreciate what you are trying to do and that you have a channel and don’t make videos to get zero views. My problem isn’t with people catching fish and enjoying the sport. My problem is with irresponsible fishing practices that come with heavier traffic in all areas. I love to see you do try and educate anglers in your videos but your simcoe small mouth video shows exactly what happens when the wrong people get word of prime fishing locations in our area. C spot fish reproduce just as much as A spot fish and if delicate fish like musky are improperly handled or even worse illegally harvested we will lose our fisheries. I’ve never watched a video that makes me think you would ever want to hurt the sport but that doesn’t mean others that watch care the same way we do. Just something to think about.
@@craigflegel8450 appreciate that Craig. Honestly I respect that you are a fisherman not afraid to speak your mind. We need more people like yourself in our fishing industry. Especially how you spoke to me was very professional. I actually hope you continue to stay on my channel as your the kind of fishermen I respect. The truth is I have always been the person to hide backgrounds and not show boat ramps but they eventually all come out somehow. I mean Fish'N Canada even gives GPS locations. Again mad respect Craig for stabding up and soealing your mind. It shows you are not a follower and passionate about fishing.🙏 Maybe I will rethink releasing our C spots going forward.
Prepping for my week long trip in Collingwood. Going to try to get some giants. Appreciate the video, this is a completely new body of water for me to fish and this helped a lot. Will comment if I get anything! Thanks for the content.
I really like your genuity in explaining what lures and techniques you are using . I also admire how you take good care of the fish and ensuring a safe release . I've never caught a musky yet but maybe one day. Keep up the good work .
Thabk you for the wondeful comment. Hard thing is legally because fish is below 52 inches it is immediate release only. However we keep in a Revival tank while measuring and removing hooks to give it a better chance of survival. If we measured first and knew the fish was under 52 we would technically be breaking the law despite caring for the fish.
Underrated
Thank you!!
Man you are insane!!!! You can catch every species 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Fishing to me is like Butchering to you. I still think you need to do a whple series about steaks!
Excellent video. Great info. Thank you! Keep the good content coming!
Thanks buddy!!! Teach me about bass!! Lol
You should look at getting a big musky net..
You are 100% correct!!
Just bought one. Going to be so much better now. That net was way to small for the recent musky we have been catching.

great video. I guess waypoint 235 is an A Spot :)
Nah nothing shown was an A spot. Just local spots when I cant travel. When you can travel the fishing is SO MUCH BETTER!
Would you cast those spots with medussa or are these locations primarily trolling
Y’a man
Told you the video was coming. I get asked so often about depths and areas. Now I can refer them to this video. :)
