Your dirt is like butter very well worked. oh those weeds they are the bane of our existence. Thanks Paul sharing your love of gardening with us ❤ Blessings your way❤ rest up Sweet man🌹
Hiya Paul, thanks for sharing greenery of any sort. Tis all white over here in Southern Ontario Canada and blowing a whoolie as Vivi says. Did notice a wee Robin 20:30 ish enjoying your hard work removing the bindweed it’s like long strings of pasta! Take care see you next week. 🐝🇨🇦👋🏻
Great episode, including your visit to Kew. I couldn’t believe how the bindweed and couch grass had taken hold of your bed, but once you had tackled them it looked really good. Bye for now.
Those Dogwoods were such a sight. Beautiful! You did a brilliant job weeding that bed. It's looking great. We have another heat wave moving in at the end of the week. High 30ies and into the 40ies! Wish us luck! I too have my 59th birthday this year in March. Where do the years go?
Hello Paul. I got rid of my wooden bed edges last years in an effort to slow down attacks by woodlice, slugs and snails. Probably not an option for you with OCD challenges!
Those are Aconites Paul, not celandines. I know because they look like this in their first year and every time I try to establish them in my garden, the following year they never reappear.

Digging out bindweed is strangely satisfying, just as well since it inevitably returns, well done on a bucketful!

Hiya, not sure if the yellows are winter aconites as I saw some at Waitrose earlier with the little frills
