I bought a water fountain water bowl for my kitty, to entice him to drink more water. It's worked well. Cats like moving water and ours was constantly trying to drink out of the toilet after we flushed it. So I bought a fountain that has constant moving water and he loves it.
I love waking up to your vlogs! My acid reflux was horrible durning all 3 of my pregnancies and if they tell it’s because baby will have lots of hair that is a lie!! My boys were so bald 😂😂😂!!! I can’t wait to see vlogs with you and Angela! So excited for you!!
I was the exact opposite, never had a day of heartburn while I was pregnant and my daughter had a full head of hair lol

When you can’t figure it out just TH-cam the way to use it. I do it all the time. Helps so much.
I had so much acid reflux the last months of my pregnancy. Like it doesn’t matter if you drink coffee or eat tomatoes - you’ll get it anyways. Go to Walgreens and buy some chewing tablets. You are a healthy woman so don’t be scared of drinking coffee - just limit it to max 200ml (12oc) a day and you and babyboy will be fine ❤️

They make these pill syringes that you fill with water and then the pill goes in a little prong at the tip. So it shoots the pill into their mouth followed by a burst of water, so they are forced to swallow. They work great on cats that like to fight pills.
I saw a tiktok video that made me think of you Mindy! It is about putting blankets over a pram for shade when it's a hot day. The woman put a thermometer inside the pram to see what happened when a blanket was used to shield from the sun and it was like an oven in there. I never knew this! Maybe you didn't either and you live in Florida so it might become relevant someday. I'm so excited for your baby to come!! Best of luck ❤️

Try Gaviscon, it will help you with the acidity. I know its difficult but try to avoid too much coffee, red sauce, chocolate, spicy stuff 🙄

When the baby gets into position you will see the last half is never comfortable because the baby is growing at a very intense rate. Take everything with a virtual grain of salt remember in season 6 what Rose said about having a baby giving advice to Anna. Just seeing you in this condition warms my heart so many prayers so many tears so happy for you both!

I run a cat rescue and I'm always giving medication because you never know who's getting sick and who might be sick anyway my go-to for anything especially appetite stimulation is Underwood deviled ham you'll see just put a little doubled ham with the pill and they won't even notice

just a slight suggestion for the dragon throat -try sleeping at a incline maybe prop yourself -head neck area up, i live with gastric reflux and sleeping on the back is a definite no no and i sleep with my head and neck elevated by a few pillows helps immensely
My cats do not like pills either but what I find works is the cat squeeze tube treats. They are called “squeeze ups” in Canada. I put the pill in after they’ve had a taste of it right from the tube and then I squeeze it as they lick it right into their mouth and they don’t notice the pill! It saved me so many times when my cat absolutely needed pills.
Not sure if that’s something you’ve tried but just wanted to suggest it :)

If you’re willing to try, mylanta worked wonders when I had horrible heartburn towards the end of my pregnancy! It’s not the best taste but it’s tolerable and it’s like instant relief! Hang in there mama 💗

TH-cam how to use the ergo- that’s how I figured it out nearly 10 years ago now. Baby wearing is one thing I miss from newborn days.

Try Mylanta or Maalox for heartburn right before you eat. These my work better for heartburn and are supposed to be safe while pregnant. Of course chck with your doctor first. Thank you for motivating me to clean today! ❤

Mindy buy the kitties a water fountain drinking bowl off Amazon! it's a known fact that cats drink better from moving water. My cat was always dehydrated too but now she drinks out of her fountain bowl ALL the time👏🏼❤

It has been many moons ago. Check your bottles; I know the Avent, Mam and doctor brown bottles will screw on the Medela pump. What I did when I pump; I would screw the bottles on have at least have a couple bottles ready in the fridge and use bags to freeze the extras.
Dairy products help with the acid reflux! Milk especially
Try peanut butter I do that with my dogs I am so happy your cat doing good love watching u guys
Good luck with the kitties! I gave mine thyroid pills for a couple years by putting in her mouth/throat. She was very good about it but it was still an adventure. And be careful they will spit them out later.
My kitties are snot faces about taking pills, too. I’ve found that if I break the pill into quarters, then smash a Pill Pocket around it, then smoosh a Temptations treat on it, I’m usually successful. Best of luck! 😸

I LOVE your videos!! I had bad heartburn with my first. I’am currently 30 weeks 4days with TWIN BOYS!💙💙 The heartburn and reflux is SUPER intense this pregnancy, so my OB has me taking Omeprazole in the evenings. It’s the only thing that helps. If your reflux gets too bad, maybe ask your OB about it😊

we have 2 cats. we have a drinking fountain for them. They drink so much water its crazy. It keeps the water in constant movement. Drinkwell is the brand we use . Amazon has it. Just a thought. Love you guys!

Pilling cats is no fun. We sometimes use a pill shooter, sold at pet stores. Its like a syringe with a plunger that shoots the pill to the back of their throat. Quik & fairly easy. Our cat takes Prozac for ripping his hair out, probably similar to Lexie. Mindy hope you're having fun w/Angela.💜

I had heartburn when I was pregnant with my son and it was horrible and tums never worked and if I ate something it made it worse but I will be praying for you that it ease up hey did you get a baby bathtub cause those are fabulous
Try using butter. My dog ate her meds coated in butter. Easy peasy.
There was a reflux medication they gave me when I was pregnant not sure if you have tried something like that yet but it helped me so much.

I so know what you are going through with your kitties.. when my dog , Nigel, had to take meds it was soooo stressful trying to think of ways to “fool” him .. never worked.. he would eat around whatever I tried to disguise his meds in and spit them out!😳

Have you talked to your doctor about taking something besides tums? I had TERRIBLE indigestion and acid reflux with both of my pregnancies and had to take Pepcid as well as tums to keep it somewhat at bay. By the end I had to sleep in the recliner because I couldn't even lay down it was so bad. You're in the home stretch!!
I had heartburn really bad. My Dr gave me a prescription and it went away the next day and after the pregnancy I never needed the medication again . Please ask your Dr for something to relieve your symptoms
Have you tried making and drinking cold brew coffee? It lowers the acidity of coffee. It might help with your fire throat!!
Ughh I remember that awful heart burn feeling. You sound so winded now and I know how uncomfortable all this is for you but you look fabulous!
Hi mindy , I had the awful heartburn loke you at the same stage you are , I found milkshake helped ,ovaltine made with Mike, I avoided spicy food , fatty food and food that is acidy, it didn't stop it but it helped , as soon as my baby boy was born it stopped . ps your such good cat mom and dad , love you mindy your an inspiration ❤️
My OB put my on Prevacid which is safe for pregnancy and baby for the heart burn when I was 6 months pregnant. I would definitely ask about that!
my kitty bella eats Taste of the wild we get at natural grocers and soft food we get there as well. maybe switching her food to a natural food will help her too? A few things that helped our Kitty.. Give them some empty pill pockets pill paste cream cheese whatever it is you're giving, give them a little bit of their dinner with some empty pill pastes paste. We use the pill paste. Then take 2 spoons and crush their pills. That was the biggest thing that helped our Kitty cat so when she bit into it she wasn't biting into a whole pill . Then put the crushed pill in your pill paste or cream cheese or whatever and do this in advance. Meaning make up a few of them and put them in the fridge. Then the crushed pill starts to take on the flavor of the pill paste and is not so better. Hope this helps
I meant to add, when you finally get them to eat it always git always give some empty pill pockets or pill paste along with ones that have the pills in it so they don't know which one actually has the pills
Ask the vet for a syringe. the night before you give the medicine to the cats, put the pill in some water and allow the pill to stay in water over night and the pill will break down. Suck the water up through the syringe and give it to the kitties by mouth. Put the medicine down the side of the throat so they don't choke. Also you can add a bit of water to their wet food. If they stay dehydrated it is possible they will become constipated. first sign is scooting on the floor.
