Haha, Well if you can understand my Chinese, I guess I had some good teachers on that boat! I don't get out on Eastman's as much as I would like, but hopefully if our paths do cross, maybe you can help me expand my Chinese vocabulary! Xie Xie✌ Thanks for stopping in!!
Nice, the great state of Maine! Welcome, and thanks for stopping in. Not sure exactly where we were on Jeffrey's Ledge, but could have been fishing in Maine that awesome day. Thanks for accidentally finding this channel! @@yuchenyang1383
Good idea! Already made a couple of batches of fish chowda, it was awesome! I did make a video of making dog treats out of the fish skins if you want to check that out. Will have a cooking video on the back burner, pun intended. Xie Xie 👍👍
Good tip! I moved my handle, and will try it out next time I go. Not sure on the suffix. Got it at Bass Pro several years ago. Thanks for the tip, and thanks for watching!👍
@@CHRIS_BASSETT less cranks on the handle is always good. Ya that suffix is pricy buy I don't replace it but every 5 or 6 years as I only go deep sea 5 or 6 times a year.
i never understood how or why people keep their rod under the same arm they use to reel smh its just poor mechanics and technic. but anyway great action video!
Shouldn’t have to use the rail for those fish.Looks like the water isn’t that deep. Easiest way to get the jig to the bottom is to use 20-30 pound test and point the rod down toward the water as you thumb the spool. Another tip is to loosen the spool tensioner knob down as far as you can until the spool is able to move sideways but just make sure it’s not too loose because the line could get caught. Good luck buddy. Cod on the Rod 🎣
The mates work on tips, take care of your mates for fish cleaning. Not sure on the coolers, but keep deck clear, it can get jammed up with just fish boxes, let alone coolers. Thanks for watching, and stopping in👍
Nice!!! Looks like the weather is gonna be good. Just checked Eastman's fishing report, looks like the massacre is still on!! Might be getting into some reds as well. I wish you well!! Let me know how you do, Tight lines!!
Looks like you're going to be makin lots of chowdah!
You got that right!!👍🎣
Sweet 🎣 ❤️
Oh yeah!!
I can understand your Chinese lol. I go fishing every weekend on eastman's weather permitting. Hope to see you around haha

Holy mackerel
Holy pollock, you mean?
Get a little more cranking power by moving your handle to the last slot at the end. I have the same reel and love it. Is that 832 suffix?

Yeah, there were some people using them👍
@@CHRIS_BASSETT thank you, am planning to come up there in January

Thanks! Just seems natural to me, I'm open to try new techniques.
@@CHRIS_BASSETT try its better leverage and you wont have to use the rail.
I will, makes sense, might bring my fighting belt next time! lol@@doublea6501

What lb leader you run off your braid? What oz jig was that?
Was running 60 lb. fluorocarbon almost invisable underwater--first jig that broke off was 8oz. second was 16oz.🎣thanks for watching!
How much do they charge for fish cleaning? Any restrictions on coolers?

What lb braid?
I’m going Saturday. Thanks
Was using 50 lb. braid. My buddy was using 60 lb.
