Mercure Madrid Centro - Madrid, Spain

In May 2024 I spent a week in Madrid and stayed at the Mercure Madrid Centro. This hotel is located basically across the street from the Prado Museum. So, it is on the one end of the main city centre. However, Madrid is a small city and everything seems to be a short walk. However, that walk is all uphill, in every direction. Even when I looked up transit, it told me to walk. The hotel is also on the same end of town as the train station. Without luggage we walked there, but with luggage we took a taxi.
