But I actually disagree with you at this point. I think that was Trump's natural reaction and I believe it was instinctual for him to communicate with the crowd before pushed off stage.
There could have been a couple days of mystery of how he was doing, or he could show that he kept his faculties through the event and as he was being whisked away he wanted his base to know that he was ok.
Not many people would have been able to react in the moment, and many would have been in shock for hours.

When shots were fired and we were all told to get down, so many people didn't, we just were so concerned for Trump. He definitely wanted us to know that he was OK!!! Praise God he was! As soon as he raised his fist, the crowd erupted! Insane night! God was definitely protecting him. ❤🙏🏼

I used to say I hate politics and don't want to get entangled in it bcs I saw my parents worry and argue about it on a daily basis. But then as I got older, I realized, you cannot escape it. Why? Bcs it has an effect on your daily life. And if you don't make a decision, someone else will make it for you. This is what's been happening in my country for more than a decade now, and this is why I moved away from my home country...because I got tired of living through other people's decisions and the effects of it. Then again, the more time goes by, the more I feel like I can exercise my rights as much as I want, but things won't turn out good either way! Not just bcs of other countries, but bcs of economy, companies, environmental issues, etc.

A lot of us feel this way about politics all over the world, not just in the US, but the same is happening in Germany, France, Hungary, etc. There is a bad and a worse choice. Here's the issue with families being divided over politics. I face this in my own family, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law are Lefties. We don't talk politics. But here's the thing. I don't hate them. The Right does not hate their Lefty family members, but the Lefties HATE their Righty family members. The Right disagree and the Left takes disagreement as hate. That's the problem. The Left feels they are superior and everyone must be made to think the way they do. The Right for the most part is more live and let live and only gets heated when the Left try to force their views on them.
