@@gnom-om Did you even watch the video? Also, you can build an APK with Expo however you like. Both bare and managed workflow is supported and you can switch to one or the other whenever you like. You should try reading the documentation next time.
Would love to see video about Expo Go Development Client. There are not a lot of react native libraries that support Expo Go and I got mad when I got to do dev build and then do some crazy stuff and finally the library wasn't working >.
I have little problem right now :) Build input file cannot be found: '/Users/expo/workingdir/build/ios/StickyInReactNative/GoogleService-Info.plist'. Maybe someone know how to fix this? I tried many times to remove and add via xcode ect.. but nothing seems to work
Expo is killing it, in 2019 it was so annoying to huild abd maintain now its amazing. Looking forward to trying out the new features in my next react bstive project 🤙
I still consider React Native to be complex and tends to break most of the time unless and until the React native comes with some basic widget structure where it's not dependent on other lib's for small features then it will work this is where Flutter shines.
With what you said about expo Go, I would love to see some information about the process of fully going from expo Go and adjusting to life without it. I am a Windows user so I'm wondering if this means I'm going to need to invest in a Mac eventually?
you can learn both. express is a res client. so understanding that could help you with other backend or full stack apps in the future. I wouldnt rely on someone else for you learning path.
Why it’s very difficult build project in Android😢? I haven’t this problems with iOS … I am 5 days with a bug in the build with android. :expo…compileKotlin, :expo-updates, :expo-localization. Can you explain this crazy bugs?
Do you still recommend to link your RN Expo Projects to Firebase? I am new to the bubble and since Jan 18 I had some Problems regarding my connections. Node.js also didn't do what I asked it to do. Or did I make something wrong myself? LG aus Wiesbaden
In my opinion, flutter has a longer learning curve, especially if you come from JavaScript, but you can develop polished applications much quicker than RN.

Everyone suggesting me not to use Expo for production. But I only know Expo not React Native cli. What is your answer for those people?
They need to learn more about Expo, if that's what they think. Expo is the future of React Native.
they suggest you becuase of their experience. With Expo you will in any case will have to return to CLI.
@@Flash136 future? really? Expo is for devs who cant event build apk by hand.

The Expo Team themselves have a video on how to create a custom development build. It's in their documentation.
Read Expo documentation it’s very easy to build EAS after watching the video

Dev builds are a bit of a learning curve, but once you get going they're definitely not that hard to use.
Looks like I should do a video about that topic. Anything specific that's not working with dev builds?
Hi Simon, Can you make a detailed video on CodePush and how to efficiently Export Expo Application
Great content! It would be nice to have a video/course about RN and GraphQL!

Nice can you make a video about the difference between react native cli and expo
Which one do you use?
Damn! Expo Router 3 capabilities at 09:20 🔥
Watch out for another video about v3 next week 👀
I want to be fullstack so can I learn express or wait for expo full stack as Next.js have? what do you recomend?
you can learn both. express is a res client. so understanding that could help you with other backend or full stack apps in the future. I wouldnt rely on someone else for you learning path.
I like the background thumbnail. Did you make that?
Expo made that on their changelog post!

This is a good question. Looking forward to Simon's thoughts.
You kind of have to if you need push notifications, as you need GCM. Beyond that, I usually recommend Supabase these days!
thanks for the advice. I want to send push notifications so I will try and link firebase with my project once again@@galaxies_dev 👍
Expo🎉🎉
You need to o one on Universal links.

You really root for Expo
Most devs do, because it's great.
