oshin, I am always positively surprised by your builds. They're so simple, yet so uniquely beautiful in a way that I've never seen another simmer replicate. Although you say you're not a builder, I completely disagree! Everything from your builds to your sims to your storytelling is incredible. I never get tired of consuming your content 💙
I love the idea of people adding to each other's builds. There (was/is) a guy on youtube who only does renovations. And honestly that's more my vibe. Because I love downloading a build and then changing it to match my style. I always promote the original, and explain the differences because everyone plays differently. Also, I really want someone mess with one of my gym builds and add spa day stuff in the basement just so I can see how it looks, and see what someone with a different play style would think if it.
This is what I THOUGHT my old builds would look like 😅. This is actually super cute. And inspiring as always. I've been wanting to make a build with 4 or more simple homes to create a small community for rotational gameplay, but it I couldn't find the right inspo for the homes. this home oddly enough looks like the duplex i grew up in as a child 😭 when i saw the thumbnail i had a rush of flashbacks as a kid and that is actually so beautiful that something so simple can bring so much joy! you always inspire me to get back in the game every time i leave it alone, it happens without a fail. ❤

I am not a builder. I built a duplex residential rental with the goal of having two sisters and their families share it so they could have a common backyard and their kids could play more easily together. Building the duplex was such an enjoyable process that it has significantly boosted my enjoyment of the overall game. I think I need to build all of my sims' house myself now, no matter how simple they're going to be. I realised that the houses I download from creators don't have the same meaning for me than those I built myself.
I tend to not enjoy the sims when I make beautiful sims and I can’t get the build right to accommodate their beauty. Sometimes I’m too perfect. Building like this made some of the best gameplay 💗 love you Oshin

okay ngl i do a roughhhh floor plan but USUALLY i end up slapping in the first version of essential furniture in the catalogue for each type of room in to make sure it all fits. resize rooms as needed. then go back to actually pick the real bed/dresser/counters etc that i want to use. otherwise my rooms are never the right size/shape when i go in to furnish lol
it’s so simple but so cozy and classic at the same time, i really love decorating builds but the building part i think it’s to much for me, so i always love when simmers do the unfurnished houses so i can decorate!!! i think that’s why i’m going to college to study interior design 😂🤍
