Hey ya'll! Today on my channel we are reacting to some times when tiktok exposed the truth! Social media users are pretty much as good as detectives when it comes to exposing. There have even been times when tiktokers have caught someone cheating! Let's go down the exposed TikTok rabbit hole together.

Even if "just messaging" isn't technically cheating... I'd never be able to trust that person again. Lying about being single pretty much yells that they'd cheat if they had the opportunity, so I wouldn't wait until they actually did it.

    • @Rachel-xu4br
      @Rachel-xu4br 2 ปีที่แล้ว +231

Exactly. For example, there's murder and attempted murder and while they're different crimes they still do get sentences, right? So I guess we can think of it that way, cheating and attempted cheating? While it may not be cheating, but if you're saying you're single and are definitely attempting to do something with another person, then, you're still guilty, just for a different crime. I wouldn't want to wait until they actually did it either.

In Japan, they recognize that sharing intimacy (private thoughts, inner feelings) with someone outside your primary personal relationship is very likely cheating. And we all know how reserved some Japanese people can be on occasion. So TEXTING is most assuredly cheating - The journey of a 1,000 miles begins with a first, single step, right? Why does he/she need to be telling an "outsider" their innermost thoughts/feelings etc.? And "sexting" is most definitely cheating. Another maxim is "Thought is the father of the deed". Thinking about someone else, for more than a few minutes (regularly) is the beginning of cheating. Everyone will see someone and think "wow she/he is hot" but if there is texting, that's the first step on a disloyal dishonourable journey.

What I've learned is a lot of guys just "settle" for whoever comes their way when they're still pinning for another girl. My colleague is married and has a little girl, and he confessed to me that I looked like this other woman he (is still) in love with and I always remind him of her when we work on projects together. He went on and on about how wonderful she was and how it's "sad" they couldn't be together. I felt *really* dirty listening to his bullshit because I've eaten at their home at their table with his loving wife and daughter. 🤮🤮🤮🤮 So yes, texting is fucking cheating because he's not emotionally invested in the relationship and would "jump ship" if he could.

Emotionally cheating is 100% cheating. Men and women do this. I’d actually think women emotionally cheat more while men physically cheat more. But that’s a bias with no evidence. Mostly anecdotal. Don’t think they’ve genuinely got any statistics for that because who would actually answer that poll truthfully. Turns out it’s not a man or a women thing, it’s a cheater thing. They come in all shapes, shades, and sexual orientations. Cheating makes no sense to me just leave the relationship and sleep with whoever :/ ya nasty.

I think they mean like, if you send "hey baby you're gorgeous heart eyes love that pic would love to meet up some time" and your defense is that you didn't cheat, you just messaged. Even if you physically didn't touch the other person, flirting through messages with the implication it will lead to more means you are harming someone in some way - either you end up meeting up and cheating physically or you're leading someone on. Make more sense?

Right I mean I think little crushes when you're in a long term relationship is normal, but acting or even expressing it, I think it's normal to be attracted to someone that isn't your s.o. but the line is crossed when you act on those feelings... And start claiming you're single or start saying things like "oh they'll never know" it all depends on the relationship too some ppl are ok with sending flirty texts and such so long as it's not physical, some ppl don't want you to have friends of the opposite sex, that's for you and your partner to decide, I have guy friends I talk to all the time! We talk and game together, that's about it... And if he did the same I'd be fine!

Story time! I was with this guy for like 8 years and he kept cheating on me and doing stuff behind my back so I eventually left him but I picked the worst possible time because my mom was doing a full remodel and I couldn't even stay in her living room so I was staying in my car. I bumped into this guy I knew from high school, will call him Tommy and he said he had a spare bedroom in his apartment I could stay in until I got things figured out. Long story short I ended up dating him and we ended up sharing a room. My dad flew in to visit from out of state and I was supposed to go meet him at a local grocery store to pick what we'd have for dinner and Tommy was suppose to be there to meet him too. Right about this time I get a call from my mom saying that my ex-boyfriend of 8 years had just called her and said that Tommy was cheating on me with a girl my ex knew named Jenny. I ignored it because I thought it was just my ex-boyfriend being vindictive trying to cause problems in my new relationship. Tommy was really late showing up too the grocery store and kept coming up with the weirdest excuses so my dad and I left the store and started walking down the side walk only to find that Tommy's truck was actually there at the end of the parking lot 👀 I walked across the street to a local coffee shop and stood in front of this giant window and came face to face with Tommy on a date with this girl Jenny who he met on Plenty of Fish. I walk in and stood in front of their table, she gets up, shakes my hand and says "he's all yours hun" and I said "Thank you Jenny" as she walked out and got into a car with my ex-boyfriend who I didn't even know was there so he had witnessed the whole thing! I found out later that the entire operation was set up by my ex-boyfriend and this girl named Jenny so that my ex could prove to me that Tommy was cheating on me and Jenny wasn't even interested in Tommy, she was just playing a part to prove to me it was true. You should have seen the look on Tommy's face when Jenny shook my hand and I thanked her using her name like we knew each other. I was humiliated of course and I hadn't seen my dad in years so what a way to welcome him! I didn't have anywhere to go so I was still stuck staying with Tommy for a while and he tried to fix things and we tried to work it out but one day he accidentally left his phone at home and I remembered watching him type his passcode in once so I knew it 👀
All I had to do was click on messages and it revealed an extraordinarily long list of girls he had been messaging who were sending pictures of their boobs and their asses and he was sending dick pics back and one of them was my best f****** friend! She and I had been friends since we were kids and they had been making plans to hang out all day on a day I had to work a double shift. That of course was the very last straw and I severed ties with both Tommy and my so-called best friend. There was just no way around it and there was nothing either one could say to justify what they were doing behind my back. I accidentally got even in the weirdest way too because while I was working, some cute blonde guy named Nick kept coming into the store, flirting with me and gave me his number. I found out that he was actually dating my "best friend" so instead of going out with this guy or texting him back, I told her all about it but she didn't believe me so I pulled out the piece of paper he gave me with his phone number on it and she could tell by the number and the handwriting that it was his. Karma is a bitch Ayla! Don't be a hoe or you get treated like one. 😊 this was many years ago and I no longer have any connection with either of my ex-boyfriends or my ex best friend and I am now married to the most loyal and most devoted, wonderful man I've ever met and we've got 2 little boys. Everything worked out in the end 😊

If you have discussed it with your partner and are open about the messaging (or whatever you're doing) and everyone is on the same page, then no, not cheating.

    • @darkstraylily1477

Cheating involves a sexual element. People are allowed to have their own friends and a life outside of their partner. That includes venting and or confiding in someone they trust about things either related or not related to the relationship (without ulterior motives).
A lot of abuse survivors tend to be more private when it comes to some things because thats whats hardwired into their brain (survival etc). Child abuse survivors *especially*.
If one has a need to be overbearing or hyper attached t their partner (or what their partner is doing) at all times - please seek help for your anxieties. That is trauma related to attachment. Try some mild counseling (not medication), better for you and your SO in the long run.

Literally, an ex of mine was messaging with his coworkers (more than one woman but it was one in particular). I obviously didn't know for a long time, I just thought they were all friends which didn't bother me at all - i have heaps of guys and girls I'm friends with at my own job. I'd even hung out with these women myself a couple of times and they were nice!
And then one day one of them sent me screenshots of his messages. And all of these messages were from him telling her how jealous I was of her and hated her because of how attractive she is and I hate that he talks to her. It was so *weird* because I'd literally never gave this girl much thought at all. My ex just made up this whole story to her to try and make me seem like an awful jealous gf to him. So even though nothing actually happened between them these messages were proof of the intention. It was the most ridiculous thing I'd ever heard.

This may help some people and it may not. Cheating is whatever you and your partner classify as cheating. For example my fiance and I have decided that if I were to go to a strip club by myself or with friends and not bring him with its cheating and same with him vice versa in the situation, however if we were to go together it's not cheating. Sitting down and setting the guidelines for your relationship is what is going to make your relationship stronger. If one partner finds something to be cheating and the other doesn't it can and will cause issues and most likely break ups. That being said I'm not saying that if you go diddily somebody else and you and partner are okay with it that its cheating. Cheating is not something that anyone else should have a say in in your relationship because if they aren't your partner they dont get to make those guidelines. I had a friend tell me that I was cheating on my fiance because I was looking at someone's profile on instagram. Literally just looking and scrolling through their posts when she freaked out and told me to stop because I was cheating. After I laughed and told her no, my fiance and i dont see that as cheating i had to explain to her what was and wasn't cheating in my relationship. My friend had grown up thinking that if you look or even speak to the opposite gender then your a cheater. It's something I find kinda funny, because some of the nicest people I've ever met are male but I'm not sexually attracted to, they're just friends/acquaintances. My fiance himself has a girl best friend but he has made it very apparent that he isn't interested in her. Heck she has a boyfriend but we are all friends. It takes maturity in your relationship to be able to feel secure and sit down and talk to your partner about these things. Nowadays everyone on the internet wants to label everything they see as a toxic relationship or as cheating. Just remember that cheating is what you and your partner decide what it is and not everyone and their dog.

Despite being in a relationship, you're lying and saying you are single so that you CAN cheat later on down the line. You might not have actively cheated... I forgave my man once for entertaining someone and pretending I don't exist, unfollowed me on social media to keep up with his lie and telling her he's single and he loved her. She lived hours away and they never met with eachother. They played xbox together and voice chatted with eachother infront of my face. She messaged me and that's how I found out. Couldn't afford to live alone, so had to let it go and move past it. You get crazy though, and always look to see who they're messaging and stuff after. I got message after message saying horrible things about me. But the way they wrote sounded familiar. I asked my best friend/girlfriend at the time if it was her. She said no. Eventually I found out it was in fact her.
Another case of friends being bullies happened to a friend of mine. Let's call her A. We were in a friend group with 4 people total (us included in that number). The two other friends added me to a group chat where they talked so much shit about A. I didn't say anything to A just yet, but I collected evidence of everything they were saying. Once I had enough, I showed it to A. She was devastated. We were all so close.

I told my ex that I didn't feel comfortable with how he talked to her and I wanted him to stop, but he never did. He'd gaslight me into just not talking about it and ignoring what he was doing.
Turned out he treated the female friend BETTER than he treated me and still continues to do so, even after we broke up. Honestly, it's up to each individual relationship to decide on boundaries and what's considered or not considered to be cheating. In my personal opinion flirting is cheating, talking to a girl who is flirting or quite obviously wants you in some way or other is just disrespectful. My boyfriend and I play it safe and steer clear of anyone who might have those kind of intentions.

    • @monstermcboo7282

I am going to hard disagree on the "don't go on any nights out without your SO to prevent you cheating". I have had boyfriends before who didn't like the same music as me, so I'd go out clubbing with my friends without them to clubs that played music I liked. I'd go to gigs without them. I'd meet my friends in bars, because that's where we wanted to hang out. At no point was there ever anything close to infidelity despite all of this. I wasn't at greater risk of cheating, and that is down to me being who I am as a person. The location isn't as important as you are making it out to be.
As for not wanting to spend all my time with a SO, you can love someone while still having your own interests, your own friends, your own hobbies etc. Personally, I think it's healthy for there to be some space in relationships for individual pursuits, otherwise your whole identity becomes tied in to one other person. I wouldn't want to be in a relationship that was so totally codependent. If that works for you then that is great, but that doesn't work for every relationship and it shouldn't be expected of every relationship..

I'm sorry to say Thomas, but no, there's no butthurtness in replying to your own ASSumptions about people that want to spend some of their waking moments with their friends/family or by themselves. Living and breathing through your partner/ spouse is NOT a universal requirement for having found "the one" or "the right person": this is only YOUR experience of what having found the one means. But this has nothing to do with faithfulness or unfaithfulness...
And yet, nobody is asking you to change to fit our norms, so we'd expect to be extended the same courtesy, thank you very much.
It feels wildly condescending to read you talk about people living different lives than you as somehow being in the wrong...? And it makes it very hard to be supportive of your position or even find you anything but snooty and disagreeable, even if it's most likely not your intention...

I think if you're messaging someone content that you would not want your significant other seeing, it is cheating. Claiming you're single when you're in a relationship is also cheating. Flirting is a little fuzzier. It can be harmless, but can also lead to misunderstandings whether it's with the person you're flirting with or your SO.

      Okay.
This is an honest question. I love playing video games on my phone. Like fighting games, you know those games where you read, games that you have to look after animals etc. Now everytime when someone comes to me. I go out of my apps because 1. I value my privacy 2. I don't like people who judge 3. I know for a fact if people see I like playing games that they will judge.
I hope my future partner will understand this.
And not be one of those who feel entitled to know my passwords. I wouldn't mind them looking through my phone. But they won't be messing on it that's for sure. I value my privacy. Not just on social media, but in real life too.
      So is this cheating?
      Honest question.
If the person is sending "things" and lying about their relationship status then that is cheating in my eyes.

  • @PixelDicaprio
    @PixelDicaprio 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

i believe the whole "just messaging thing" is dependent on multiple factors: a) are they saying they're single to the other person? b) are they sexting? c) are they showing signs of dating? if the answer's yes to all, they're most likely cheating. Other factors include a) are they flirting with the other? b) is the other person someone you know well? (note this doesn't mean they aren't a backstabber if it is) b2) if it is someone you know, are they honest/a genuinely nice person? It all comes down to context really. It all comes down to the texts being sent

"Traitor in the contacts list has happened to me" So,, when i was in college, i was friends with a guy and he got romantically interested in me. I already had a boyfriend, so I explained it to him and he of course was understanding. Even though I turned him down, we were in good terms and we remained being close friends same as how we were before. His CRAZY ex-girlfriend didn't like this at all and she kept telling everyone that I was the reason that they split, and that I am a home wrecker and so many bad names and things about me.. she was gaining sympathy from almost everyone making me look like the bad person even though I did nothing in reality. she kept sending me hate messages, posting hate comments from fake accounts and so many things. I did not react on any of her drama and simply ignored her which made her even pissed. So what she did was, she has got a picture of me and my boyfriend and got a picture of me and her ex (which is not a pic we have got together, it was cropped from a group photo.. so basically it's not a pic of two of us) and put those two pics together, made a post saying I was a wh**e dating two guys at once and many more bad things and she has sent it to so many people.
Now the problem isssss, I am kind of a private person and I do not post relationship stuff on social media. In my whatsapp, I have made my status settings in to "only share with" and have added only the closest friends and family to it and I share my couple photos and stuff to those CLOSE FRIENDS circle only. now one of these few CLOSE friends, has screenshotted a pic and sent it to that Crazy ex so that she can make a post badmouthing me and share with everyone.. Ok, everyone is different but, to me cheating constitutes anything you wouldn't do or say IN FRONT of your significant other(OR anything that you'd have to hide from your partner). An affair can be emotional too, not JUST physical. If your dating, it's an important conversation that you should have with your significant other. Because someone might be very flirtatious, and that COULD be consider cheating, or someone might be ok, with having a more "open" relationship. With kissing/ hugging being acceptable. Either way, have the talk, you need to know eachother boundaries, & how eachother feel.(think a club fling without sex, or pornagraphy too some people consider that being unfaithful) Also, relationship boundaries, should be fair/equal. If you're open to kissing other people within a relationship, you should be OK with your partner being open to kissing others too. It just keep things fair & balanced.
