It's pretty cringe... Especially watching it on TH-cam. But people have to remember these were produced quite some time ago and the media landscape was a very different thing at the time. Still, cringe... Oh so very cringe 🤣
Blur it as much as you like....... but big green truck, distinctive logo...... called the truck company that drifted across on ol' mate with the hay.... just went back to check if the logo was covered 😂😂😂
outback adventures. it is incredibile. That's why outback truckers are unstoppable. One question: the trucks that we see are of the driver's or they are just rent? Still, I really like outback truckers❤❤❤❤
Some truckers are known as "owner/drivers" or "owner/operators" meaning they own and drive their trucks working for themselves, like private contractors. Others are using trucks provided by the company they work for. When this was made, it was more common than it is now to be an owner driver, majority of drivers are working for companies.
As a European, it is difficult for me to understand what is happening with these restrictions to leave the road at sunset? Trucks are not allowed to drive at night, or why??? So you can leave at sunrise and drive all day, but at sunset you have to stop??? well, a working day in these conditions can last 15 hours, in Australia there is no stable program by which the driving time of a driver is well determined by law? It is completely different from the European system, where you are allowed a maximum of 10 hours of driving, but you are not restricted by the presence of the sun, you drive at night without problems, and it is even better at night when the traffic is much lighter than during the day
Well to be fair, driving multi combination heavy vehicles across remote Australian roads is a pretty dramatic job... But I'll agree, the old "reality TV" style of documentary feels very outdated in the world of TH-cam. There's a definite cringe factor to it lol. These were all filmed quite some time ago though, be getting close to a decade since these were produced.

Tell the announcer to stop talking and making it more dramatic than it really is.
Stopping with the giraffe directly under the power lines was something real special
I like how the narrator makes it a real drama😂😂😂
I think it's the most dramatized show that I've seen, they go wayyy too overboard with it

Just a part of the job for these truckers!
It's mixed, some of the truckers you see own their trucks and some of them are rented/leased

Wonder what would happen if the narrator couldn’t fabricate drama. 😂😂😂
In one of the dumbest clips I've seen the narrator says "he's stuck with no way out" and then the guy gets out
Crazy thought why don't they make semis with rear wheel steer
Nhill is not in Victoria's south. Its in the Mid West
