I really enjoy how you observe the environment and enemies, and try to draw conclusions from your own experiences. So many streamers are so focused on the bosses, they forget about the world they are currently exploring. Long story short , Thanks for being curious and inquisitive.
That’s what I like about FromSoft games. You get what you want out of them. If you want to learn more story it’s right there to decipher but if you just want the challenge and the bosses then you can do just that too! It’s incredible. But thank you for the compliment

yeah, unfortunately summons and mimic really make the game very very easy. i still dont understand why some people are angry that there is no difficulty options like easy mode when you can make it easy for yourself...
She is a fair fight I feel, I’ve died numerous times but that’s because I’m not great, I live the game and am not giving up because eventually once I get her pattern down it makes it so much more rewarding beating her
I did the same in my game I didn't see her ultimate attack until I watch streamers get anhilated by it and I was so happy I was running a stagger bleed build to bully her

Watching Evelyn methodically work her way round so she doesn't miss anything and then watching Sean... "Omg, I'm missing so much stuff". I love how different their two playthroughs are.
That's why I always watch her playthroughs first bc I know we'll see everything we can. I love that she checks every nook and cranny of the game. That way when I watch other people, I won't feel like I missed out on something 😂

It’s not a big deal at all I just feel like there could’ve been an actual connection drawn between the forager brood and the kindred of rot, some line referencing how they are the rot spawn or something just so the player has an idea what to look out for, DLC is still amazing that’s quite literally my only hang up and it’s super minor

@Eskinore I've been using multiple builds including bleed and from what I've saw bleed is the best for damage. But not by a long shot. Most of these bosses if your doing it solo are js endurance battles and just plain hard as hell. Imo, just use a build your comfortable with and hope for the best. Does not matter if bleed or not. Plus I'm pretty sure bleed been nerfed a lot
That Rellana fight is the perfect illustration of “Elden Ring is hard as you make it” cause people now are so pissed off that they can’t beat the bosses and they keep getting one shot, meanwhile Sean is over hear doing something that people took 2-3 hours to do in just 2-3 minutes

I love Rellana, and i wish you got to see more of her boss fight. Took me 1,5-2h i think as I barely had any scadutree upgrades, and I was using elenoras poleblade. A really fun fight to learn!
I'm also running through with the poleblade! It was my first character that I beat the base game with and such a fun one too. I switched to power stancing with a Godskin Peeler though because I was struggling with an annoying boss
Yea, kinda robbed himself of the best part of the Boss fights. Learning the moves. Dual great stars and mimic is so fucking busted, lol. Might as well not even be playing at that point.

Yeah I was a little disappointed. I understand that he has to keep these fights short, but both her and the Lion dancer didn't even get to show most of their moves. Rellana didn't even manage to do THAT move. I was really looking forward to seeing Jacks reaction. Like I get why people don't want to watch him die 5 times, but isn't this combo a little over the top? These aren't even fight. But it's his game and who am I to tell anyone how to play it. It's just a little sad that he misses half of these fights.

Even for a regular cold, the second symptom that shows up for me (after coughing) is brain fog, and since the brain is a bit sluggish, I'm usually not the first to notice. Feels like Jack's similar to me in that regard. 🤷♂
Only just watched episode one and this one as well, obviously was playing the DLC. But Jack asked after the Dancing Lion whether or not Miquella is dead. The general consensus (before DLC, haven't finished yet) is that "yes*". The '*' being because they appear to be similar to Ranni. He has his soul, but his body is dead (presumably). I personally believe that the defilement of his body from Mohg's tainted blood is what allowed him to "grow older" while in the cocoon (we may find out for sure in the DLC though). It's still pretty unknown however what the true intentions are behind this idea that he also abandoned his fate and the relation to "death" with him. Still playing the DLC, so can't wait to see what they do in actuality

According to the internet, that weird hanging finger that you found in the middle IS a bell. You just can't ring it yet as you need a specific item. SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT - In the Cathedral of Manus Metyr is an NPC named Count Ymir. This can be found along the Northeast path from the Moorth ruins. You can get the Hole-Laden Necklace from him. Once you have that you can go back to the ruins and ring the bell. There are actually 3 finger ruins in the DLC, and the 3rd one can't even be accessed without first meeting Ymir and starting his questline. After each ringing, going back to him will get him to direct you to the next ruins. Quest Reward: 1. Crimson Seed Talisman +1 to boost your flask healing, Cerulean Seed Talisman +1 for your blue flasks, and Beloved Stardust (a talisman that speeds up spellcasting), each for ringing one of the three bells. 2. I mean you can get Radahn pretty early and if you go the Varre quest route you can be at Mohg inside of 20 minutes so the only real skill check that early is Mogh himself.

Jack seems to be having fun so I support it and it is a valid playstyle. But It's kind of sad to watch him melt bosses with summons and allies, such cool attacks like the Lion dancers lightening and Rellana's twin moons and he does not see them because he beats them so quickly. I feel like there's something lost there for not having to fight against the bosses and have that dance of combat that lets you see their movesets design and how that informs their story.

This DLC is NOT the size of Limgrave, its easily Limgrave, Caelid, and Liurnia, maybe even a bit of the Altus Plataue. They really went all out

Even for a regular cold, the second symptom that shows up for me (after coughing) is brain fog, and since the brain is a bit sluggish, I'm usually not the first to notice. Feels like Jack's similar to me in that regard. 🤷♂

Only just watched episode one and this one as well, obviously was playing the DLC. But Jack asked after the Dancing Lion whether or not Miquella is dead. The general consensus (before DLC, haven't finished yet) is that "yes*". The '*' being because they appear to be similar to Ranni. He has his soul, but his body is dead (presumably). I personally believe that the defilement of his body from Mohg's tainted blood is what allowed him to "grow older" while in the cocoon (we may find out for sure in the DLC though). It's still pretty unknown however what the true intentions are behind this idea that he also abandoned his fate and the relation to "death" with him. Still playing the DLC, so can't wait to see what they do in actuality

According to the internet, that weird hanging finger that you found in the middle IS a bell. You just can't ring it yet as you need a specific item.
SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT

In the Cathedral of Manus Metyr is an NPC named Count Ymir. This can be found along the Northeast path from the Moorth ruins. You can get the Hole-Laden Necklace from him. Once you have that you can go back to the ruins and ring the bell.
There are actually 3 finger ruins in the DLC, and the 3rd one can't even be accessed without first meeting Ymir and starting his questline. After each ringing, going back to him will get him to direct you to the next ruins.
Quest Reward:
1. Crimson Seed Talisman +1 to boost your flask healing, Cerulean Seed Talisman +1 for your blue flasks, and Beloved Stardust (a talisman that speeds up spellcasting), each for ringing one of the three bells.
2. A weapon, spirit ash, and an armor set after you ring all three bells, beat the needed bosses for the quest, and turn the quest in.

Hi Sean! Multiplying by a negative number can be thought of as a 180 deg rotation so when you multiply negative numbers together the rotations “flip” you over back to the positive sides! If you want to continue this thought you can think of complex numbers (-1)^1/2 and how they are 90 deg rotations!

The weapon he got at about 1:31:00, the bloodfiends arm, I believe gives you the highest yield for bleed in the entire game once you apply the bleed affinity to it. If you are doing Bonk builds like Jack, it is a veryyyyyyy bonkable weapon

I mean you can get Radahn pretty early and if you go the Varre quest route you can be at Mohg inside of 20 minutes so the only real skill check that early is Mogh himself.

Jack seems to be having fun so I support it and it is a valid playstyle. But It's kind of sad to watch him melt bosses with summons and allies, such cool attacks like the Lion dancers lightening and Rellana's twin moons and he does not see them because he beats them so quickly. I feel like there's something lost there for not having to fight against the bosses and have that dance of combat that lets you see their movesets design and how that informs their story.
I love how at the begging of the relkanq fight he says "PONTIFF SULYVYN"!
