Okoh Okoh in Bali a street procession marking the end of their new year celebrations,
The Balinese New Year is called Galungan started on 28 of Feb 2024 and Kuningan is last day of new day celebrations on 9 march , where it a Public holiday for the Balinese. There is street processions of Okoh Okoh figurines decipting the Devine being that will be sent back to the heavenly repeal at the Kuningan day.
The next day is called Nypi , silent day where again it is a Public holiday where the Airport , Resturant’s are shut down,Everyone is encouraged to stay at home , , street lamps also shut down , traffic ban from roads, houses must stay also in darkness .
Also for the Balinese no cooking , this is the only place that shut down for 24 hrs
