What the f*ckin' hell is "energy metal"? Seriously, please... The classification of metal in one bazillion of subgenres is already ridiculous enough, don't add fantasy names to it now...
Energy metal is a combination of EDM, power metal, and melodic metal, occasionally with some symphonic metal thrown in. So few fit the bill, so it's not recognized as an official genre until more people like Amaranthe start popping up. However, it is on the list of future genres, and Amaranthe has been queued for it, along with three other bands.
