I can still remember the Dutch TT with both 500 two stroke machines and 1000 cc bikes on the starting grid. Valentino was riding on a matt black 1000cc (Honda?/Yamaha?) and pulling wheelies all the time. Was amazing..... Soon the 500cc two stokes disappeared
Can I just say, having gone to the Silverstone MotoGP the last 3 years, and stood here too, this sound does MotoGP noise NO justice at all. They are old V8 F1 car level of ear piercing, especially in the sound trap of a Grandstand.
I don´t know why, but from amateur videos everything looks much more exciting and more fancy than from the professional tv stations. It is much more "live" impression. The KTM really is looking good here.
@@oggyoggy1299 Allow me to translate: Starting from stationary, the bike's suspension in the rear automatically compresses, and when the bike accelerates, the suspension expands to counter the front wheel rising away from the ground. If you tried to accelerate this hard with most street bikes, you'd loop the bike, meaning that it would shoot out from under you and flip backwards.
Marc is fast becoming yesterday's hero. Particularly after taking out Jorge Martin in the final race at Valencia. He was once a humble champion. Now he's become a prima-dona like Rossi was in his final years. Not winning, but firmly believes that he should be.
@@coolhand1964 are you blind?? LOL he didnt take our Jorge! Jorge took both himself and Marc out almost killing Marc. Jorge hit Marc rear tire and sent him into a violent highside. He almost did the same thing to Pecco early in the race and he avoided it thats why he went wide of the track. Martin was riding with too much emotion making him make mistakes, instead of staying calm and cool.

If that bike popped up in 1990 they would think the world had gone mad 😮
The world has gone mad
That an the F22.....
UFO.
They wouldn't be far off either

You don’t need that bike for that.
redbull suit and bike colors look so badass together. Jack Miller is a beast!
That bike looks Awsum!!! 👌

this is sooo good, raw footage with pure engine sound, what camera did you use to take this masterpiece?
Olympus OMD EM-1
He probably engaged neutral while trying to downshift. 😂
Less technology and more pilot's hands.
2nd gear start or does he run standard shit?
Kawick 😂
My FS1-E was faster off the line than that!
So joining a long famous lineage of men remembering their toys as much faster than they really were….
It's too dangerous stop in there
It's the official practice start area.
A good rider, but never a world champion, also too much young better talent coming along
Stupid holeshot device 👎 If I want to see a dragster race I should go to the 🇺🇸 !!!!keep motocycle state of mind safe plz 🙏

It's about the perspective of viewers.
Silverstone '23 was my first MotoGP race (was there 2018 but cancelled due to rain). I was surprised how much better the Moto2 bikes sounded.
Yeah the moto2s do sound quite nice although there pretty quiet compared to the gp bikes
Yeah they have better pops and bangs
Yeah, the old Honda Moto2 engine was so high-pitched, it was hard to take in person. The Triumph engine is way better.
Moto2 in person sounds so much tamer though, these are prototypes, supposed to sound loud and different!
Good old Aussie determination ... just swear at the bike and hope it goes faster.
Yo, if jack was a pizza, id eat him, hes that good.
Engine sounds terrible.
Reminds me of my Super Dream at the A34 lights.
KTM Harus juara dunia
Facts💯💯🗣️
That made me smile.
perfect launch control
Do most MotoGP racers choose to start at second gear?
WHAT A MACHINE! Like it lots! John P.
Modern MotoGP bikes are like transformers- the initial holeshot squat like dragsters before rising up into a full fledged apex slayer. Wow!!!
Huh?

That bike looks so badass!! And most gorgeous livery. Marc made a bad choice!!
Marc...what?
what does marc has to do with this video bruh

@@USAracing No, I'm not blind, I just like stirring up the one eyed fans. Gotcha!
worst thing you could have done to this video was to zoom it in, it takes away the real speed of acceleration
A bit dangerous doing it there!

What has it come to, they barely resemble bikes anymore, fully something from the future that's gone & back.😵💫 Straight madness
Hes lucky he didnt get rear ended by a drunk driver

Those bikes sound like shit
Sounds like a 2 stroke

INSANE ?
Drama queen .
He just rode away . . .
INSANE
How boring. Put it in start mode hold it on the stopper and the bike does the rest
I’m sure that’s how it works m8
Exactly that .
Electronics are doing it for him.
No skill there
Coming to a complete stop like that on an active track seems like a really bad idea.
It couldn't have been as reckless as it looked ?

It's not if, it's when.
is it 2 stroke ? because in my opinion the sound is pretty similar to a 2 stroke
4 stroke.
1000cc v4 4 stroke
@@jlracing3050 thanks
not even close! , never heard a v4? lol
Wow , insane 🙄
CRAZY , OH , MY , GOD 😂😂😂
