$5 Basic Beginner Bird Feeder Good Youth Project!

This is how to build a basic bird feeder using one Cedar fence picket and minimal tools. You do not have to have an extensive shop full of tools to build this and it is also an ideal project for youth to get acquainted with woodworking.

Never saw a bird that demanded ‘fine wood working’. 100% are concerned with finding seed. This design is perfect for our own mods. My first one will be with whatever wood
I have on hand. Future ones will be from cedar

Also, there is a difference between a chop saw and a compound sliding miter saw.

@@louislandi938 Yes. A "chop saw" does not slide, so working width is limited. About 6" with a 10" blade.
