- While invading i came upon a host who had a cheat active so i would not be able to connect any damage to him. I decided to hang around and see what i could do

Love that he's hiding behind his shield even though he can't take damage.
I think he was trying to make it look like that was the reason he wasn't taking damage so not to lose his blues loyalty

His world state is in a setting which isn't possible through normal play too. You can't get into the Grand Archives/before Twin Princes without killing the other three lords of cinder first. When you do so, the sun goes hollow. So he probably clipped through the Grand Archives wall or something. Looks cool though.

Actually I've managed to trigger this without cheat engine, it's possibly a bug that occurs if you kill bosses in a specific order.

i've invaded this same guy, had a rougher time because they had already cleared the pve in the area. eventually got him to fall off the map :)

@@Amy-kb1lj No you can tell he's hacking because there's no lag when chase gets hit but when he hits him it straight up never goes through, you'd think (considering that lag goes both ways) that chase would've hit him once in the whole invasion but he didn't

A few weeks ago I had to ban someone from my discord server because I accidentally found out he was invading at low to meta levels with 99 in all stats... And theres also many of those classic guys who go for cursed weapons once they realize they can't beat you.
Imagine being invincible and still using a straight sword.

With that latency, I wouldn't be surprised if his cheat engine was still in middle of downloading while he use it. That's why he has half assed immortality
I never use cheats outside rapidly throwing together a new character to play. But in PvP it sucks to find a hacker. One time I decided to play ball. So I turned on noclip and flew over a cliff. Then summoned his ass to me and let go. Gg hacker idiot.

That's how alot of hackers are. They need to hack to play the game. I had over 3k hours in it.befor I started hacking on PC. And even then I mostly just dick around with speed or character sizes to have fun lol
This pathetic guy literally used cheats to make himself untouchable by invaders, and then has the balls to act like he's the better player.
This is why I use cheats as well. Not in regular invasions, I just use a curse dagger specifically to kill cheaters like this. Put them in their place.

Vanilla L I feel like a broken record here. It’s a server issue caused by the blue coming in that fucked with the connection. My wording in earlier comments probably wasn’t the best, but I can say with conplete certainty as someone with a *lot* of CE experience and DS3 experience on PC that he’s not hacking. There’s nothing you can do with Cheat Engine to do what happened here where the host has no hitbox but only to invaders. I’ve had the same thing happen twice to me where I’ve invaded someone and been unable to attack them, once after they summoned a phantom in and once after moving to a different area, but the enemies can still damage the host

Hackers have become insanely common for me recently. Ever since I started using Wex Dust I find a hacker every 50-75 invasions.
What is Wex Dust? Is it some sort of tool that shows if somebody is a hacker? Something similar existed for ds1 right?

It could be that the game detected your mod and placed you in the same "invasion setting" that hackers and modders get sent to, if it detected modified game data. Idk how it works or if the game tells you when you get detected doing that (I play on PS4) but that could be an explaination.

Potato Head the only thing that would make some sense is that the guy wanted to just play with his sunbro and they get invaded all the time. It does kind of get annoying when your just trying to have fun with your friend and xxmisdingchromosomexx with level 400 invades your level 50 first playthrough of the game for the 20th time. And I‘m not saying it‘s the right thing to do, but that it would be a plausible explaination.

I feel like this was more some weird lag/glitch. If he was going to set himself invincible why didn't he set himself invincible against npcs? Or at least increased absorption or damage? Im pretty sure there a glitch happened in the invasion process
In order to get into grand archives one must defeat 3 lords of cinder and therefore change the color of the sun into a darksign. This host's world has a regular sun: he's hacking.

I had an invincible hacker in the cruzifixion woods once. Parried him like 7 times until my ressources were off. Pointed him down every time when he was hitting the dirt. God, that was great. (And nice parry practice...)
I wish he got a parry on this guy. That would've been a golden reaction.
I *think* parrying requires hit-register, so it wouldn't have been possible.

I moved recently to an area with very bad internet and something siumilar to this actually WILL almost always happen when I am the host. If too many people invade me, or if I summon someone for help, I cannot hit PvP anymore, even though they can hit me back. My hits will just go straight through them. I have tested it and it is consistent enough. Never used to happen when I had good net.

Hey chase, just a thought, but using the glitch you used for lorian's gs, could you use the blackflame weapon art, switch partway through it, and then buff the bkgs with the stomp? I'm not quick enough with my menus to pull something like that off, but I figure if anyone can, it would be you.

@@noahsmith4980 I ran into a hacker that had turned off their stagger completely. We tried using force, didn't work. You could backstab him, but naturally they had infinite hp and stm. There was nothing that I could do, (hint I was hosting a fight club as a host in Pontiff, so I couldn't just leave with a BC) so I turned off the game when the reds were distracting him (aka trying to kill him somehow)
My friend avoided his invader without even knowing he was being chased, so he ran around the map before the invader rage quit.
At first I thought he was just using the standard public table but when he appeared to be able to get hit by PVE the plot just thickened so much more
