That is a proper recovery truck!
@DerAdventurer do u c any rear bumper? i dont and besides, by the looks of it, its a write off, so who cares bout the windows?
@DerAdventurer the reason they didnt pull it out by the bumper is because if you look at the beginning of the video the bumper wasnt there
They might've as well left the car there instead of removing it like dimwits- no need to smash windows, scratch the carwith the chain or damage it further. With the right equipment it couldve been done better. At the time the car was about a year old.
Why didn't they tow the car by bumper, saving the windows?
Because the car would've been ruined by salt water. It is still in gear which would suggest to me they was trying to drive it out while being towed when things went bad. That car went straight to the scrap yard.
@DerAdventurer beacause the mud has hell of a suction and would probebly ripp off and its wrecked anyway
@ShanesAutos lol that's been 100 years ago. Indeed, it ended up in a junkyard it might have been recycled and probably - with an amount of luck - it became a steel part of a Jaguar, or a Mercedes Benz or even a Rolls Royce.
@nineteen1972 Sure it wouldn't have use anymore due to water. However, it just looks bizarre to deal in such a rough way with the machine - if you know what I mean.
And I thought the potholes in Michigan were bad.
because that plastic toy car dosnt have a strong enough bumper
Engine will be buggered, seats ruined, body panels will rust like no tomorrow, ECU's will be fried... One way trip to the scrapyard.
@CedrikTheManiac00 Yes, indeed. The car has been given total loss, I don't doubt it. But you know... it's sort of stupid to see how people treat things...
Hah,they could waste a hour to take out the windows,but no ''that's not my car''.
you could have just brought your tools and your car , and take the spark plugs off , and then crank it up and see if it the water comes out from the engine , and put the spark plugs back , crank it up and see if it starts
Scammel does not fuck about.
wat the hell..... more to the point how the hell did it end up there
@1991Timmo ||| 100 years later. Well, the car is gone already. End of story.
i remember people getting caught on Brean beach in the 1960's. Must be something in the air!
I wonder who had to pay for that recovery job? Anyway I'm sure the owners enjoyed going home on the Train!
Could only be a rental car.
lol
The fiesta looks better than some of the cars returned to EC Edinburgh after T in the Park 2007.
@DerAdventurer They still had to load it on that truck
'It wasn't a writeoff'.... Bull. Once it's been submerged in sea water, it's totally useless. Empty the engine and it'll be full of sand and bits, and will seize solid within 24 hours.
It's fucked anyway! What difference does it make if the windows are smashed.It's a write off and it will never run again.
i bet my bottom doller thats brean sands ?
@DerAdventurer car was fucked anyway not like it made any difference, bet you anything it ended up in the junkyard.
they forgot to smash the frond window........nice company imagine what they r doing in case of blow tire!
Did this happen from a natural disasture
write off ?
u need to be stupid to drive that distance away from the shore and i bet the insurance didn't pay out neither
@rastafagzbo Serious?
@burton76 Well, there's a point...
muhaha, by bumper, rofl
@FragNoMore13 LOL whatever, you got what I meant.
why did they no just drive these old car out of there puddle ? ;-)
@DerAdventurer Cause their probs cavemen lol
awful recover, id ot towed it in my 4x4
@rastafagzbo Ummmmmm...... You??
Unbeleiveable, I've just run the reg number through Askmid and these are the results:
MJ08DSY is on the Motor Insurance Database today
The car would need a new body, new upholstery, serious work on the engine and electrics.. It should be a write off!
cowboys
i do polski :D
