98% Indian men are like this only. Even in my house the situation is same. I'm housewife. Husband get every Saturday Sunday off but do nothing. Sometimes while serving food I feel that I'm a waiter in the hotel who clean the table too after meal. Atleast waiter gets salery every month but I don't even get respect.
Its high time that we should also teach our son's and husbands that this house is there's also , they also have some responsibilities, and household works are every person's duties ..

Yes, after a certain age, like late 70s, people will need support when a maid is the best choice to have. But remember, it is the open invitation to become physically and mentally weaker. As sons, me and my brothers have many, many times told our parents that we will keep a maid for them. But they have always denied this because they know it will make them work less and make them weaker. But what we wanted is their safety. We can only give them a maid of they agree to have one, so they don't have a maid now. If you really are that overloaded, and if you were a kind and caring mother, you just need to hint your children that you need a maid's support in your daily routine. If they are working, they would get it done ASAP.
