Honestly I think that Giancarlo Stanton also got blamed a ton when he played for the Marlins from 2008 to 2019 he averaged 33 homers a year over 110 RBIs and led the team in batting average and ops but never got the respect that he rightfully deserved because he was blamed for apparently how bad the pitching was over the course of the time he was there so I never understood why people would crush him for it when it was the pitching staff that was so bad even before Jose Fernandez died and after so there's no excuse for the fans blaming him for the team's issues for pitching that's just my opinion on the matter.
