William D. Chapston has my favorite verse and it has a good few references to his dnd campaign, and rustage isn’t voicing him because he’s tekking101’s characters rustage was the dm, knowing the story makes the verse hit different not gonna lie

Also to be clear tekking is William in the dnd not Rustage he's just the DM
it is still rustage's domain more than actual one piece domain so gbj's confusion was justified.
Like, if you ask someone to be part of your one piece cypher you would expect to rap as someone from one piece not from DND from objective neutral out of context point of view. furthermore it was rustage's own decision as dungeon master to make william into "D" not tekkings. Tekkings vision of william was inspired by levi and plot development made him anything but...

I think Rustage didn’t rap as William because he usually starts it off and starting it off with a non canon character may cause people not to watch it, but idk.
No it’s cause themanbehisla is a One Piece DND Superfan, he has more one piece dnd songs than rustage does

@@DaPuddingDragonSlayer Honestly, I think if Rustage fans who didn’t know about One Piece DND saw Rustage rapping as a character from the campaign, they’d be a bit more intrigued. Especially since with Rustage’s rapping style, you’d hear a lot more bars that’d make you wanna actually listen to the podcast.
@@mohamedkaba5139 I guess but as a strictly business standpoint so regular One Piece fan isn’t gonna want a non canon character to start off the cypher, but if he made a specific One Piece dnd rap of like character or something then I feel like it would work better that way. I just don’t think a cypher is a good way to do that.
